MIAMI, FLORIDA, OCTOBER 15, 2020 – Univision News announces its Town Hall with the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci: “COVID-19 Vaccines: Myths and Facts,”to be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. CT on the Univision Network.
There is a race against time to produce effective COVID-19 vaccines. The CDC has reported there is a disproportionate burden of illness and death among racial and ethnic minority groups.
Women and men have volunteered to receive vaccines, but a recent study found that Hispanics are not well represented in clinical trials despite being one of the communities most affected by the pandemic.
Univision, The Covid-19 Prevention Network, UnidosUS and the National Institutes of Health have joined forces in this virtual Townhall to provide answers and raise awareness about the urgent need for more volunteers. Dr. Anthony Fauci will respond to audience questions.
