Univision Beat FOX, Attracting More Young Adults 18-34 for the Third Consecutive Week

Univision Ranked as the No. 2 Network, Ahead of ABC and CBS, During the M-F 10pm Hour for the Second Consecutive Week Among Young Adults 18-34

Tuesday Night’s Premiere of “La Piloto” Reached 3.0 Million Total Viewers 2+

Univision finished the week as the No. 4 Broadcast Network, attracting more young Adults 18-34 than FOX (+4%) for the third consecutive week.

In the current season-to-date “Pequeños Gigantes USA” has grown its Mon-Thurs 8pm hour by +9% with Total Viewers 2+ and +3% among Adults 18-49. Airing at 8pm Mon-Thurs this past week, “Pequeños Gigantes USA” averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 748,000 Adults 18-49, and 358,000 young Adults 18-34.

Weekdays from 9pm-10pm, Univision was the No. 4 Broadcast Network among young Adults 18-34, ahead of FOX (+22%), for the second consecutive week.

  • Solidifying Univision’s position in the 10pm hour, “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 879,000 Adults 18-49 and 417,000 young Adults 18-34.

Univision ranked as the No. 2 network Mon-Fri during the 10pm hour with young Adults 18-34. This marks the second consecutive week of double-digit advantage over ABC (+38%) and CBS (+32%) among young Adults 18-34.

  • On Monday night, the finale of “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) attracted 2.9 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.3 million Adults 18-49 and 601,000 young Adults 18-34. The Monday night finale of “El Color de la Pasión” ranked as the fourteenth most-watched Broadcast program for the week among young Adults 18-34.
  • Following on Tuesday night, the “La Piloto” premiere reached 3.0 million Total Viewers 2+ who tuned into all or part of the one-hour Broadcast. In its premiere week (Tues-Fri), “La Piloto” attracted 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 813,000 Adults 18-49 and 369,000 young Adults 18-34.

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language Broadcast Networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights among young Adults 18-34.

  • Univision kicked off the week as the No. 3 Broadcast Network among young Adults 18-34. Univision out-delivered FOX (+44%) for the second Monday and beat CBS by +28%.
  • Univision maintained its No. 3 rank on Tuesday night with young Adults 18-34, besting both FOX and ABC. Furthermore, among Adults 18-34 Univision out-ranked ABC (+22%) for the fourth consecutive Tuesday night and FOX (+40%) for the third consecutive Tuesday.
  • For the third consecutive Wednesday night, Univision was the No. 4 Broadcast Network, out-delivering NBC by +24% with young Adults 18-34.
  • On Friday night Univision was the No. 3 network with young Adults 18-34, outperforming FOX (+99%) and NBC (+8%) for the fifth consecutive week. Univision also outperformed ABC by +6% among young Adults 18-34.
    • Among Adults 18-49, Univision beat FOX (+30%) for the fourth consecutive Friday.
  • Univision was the No. 4 Broadcast Network with young Adults 18-34 viewers on Saturday night. This is the fifth consecutive Saturday night Univision beat FOX with both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
    • Univision averaged +77% more Adults 18-49 viewers than FOX, marking the fifth consecutive Saturday beating FOX.
