Univision Network’s Primetime Telenovela Lineup Reported Double-Digit Percentage Gains in Every Hour Over the Previous Week with Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

Univision grew its audience week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 1.8 Million), Adults 18-49 (+4% to 830,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+3% to 400,000).
Compared to the same week a year ago (11/30/15 – 12/06/15), Univision attracted +3% more young Adults 18-34 viewers.
On Monday night Univision attracted significantly more young Adults 18-34 than ABC and CBS, out-delivering the broadcast networks by (+41%) and (+35%) respectively.
Airing its back-to-back novela lineup, Univision out-delivered FOX by +26% on Tuesday night with Total Viewers 2+.
Airing Mon-Thurs this week, Univision’s prime novela lineup reported double-digit percentage gains in every hour over the previous week with Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.
- Univision’s 8pm novela, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) averaged more Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 1.7 Million), 654,000 Adults 18-49 (+12% to 733,000) and young Adults 18-34 audience (+8% to 380,000) versus the previous week.
- Following at 9pm “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) delivered its highest weekly average to-date. Increasing its audience over the prior week, “Vino el Amor” attracted 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+ (+17%), 1.0 Million Adults 18-49 (+18%) and 489,000 young Adults 18-34 (+19%).
- Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) reported double-digit percentage increases over its prior week average among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 2.1 Million), Adults 18-49 (+13% to 928,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+12% to 415,000).
Raising over $15 Million dollars for rehabilitation of children with disabilities, “TeletónUSA” 2016 aired on Univision from Friday to Saturday night. 13.4 Million Total Viewers 2+ tuned into all or part of the twenty-three and a half-hour live broadcast.
- On Friday night Univision aired the first segment of “TeletónUSA” and averaged 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 526,000 Adults 18-49 and 251,000 Adults 18-34.
- Continuing on Saturday during primetime “TeletónUSA” delivered 922,000 Total Viewers 2+, 374,000 Adults 18-49, and 153,000 young Adults 18-34 viewers.
For the second consecutive Sunday night, Univision captured the No. 3 rank among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
- At 7pm, “La Banda” increased its week-to-week viewership with Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 1.6 Million), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 683,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+9% to 324,000).
- At 9pm Club America topped Necaxa in the semi-final Liga Mexicana match, winning 2-0. The live Liga Mexicana soccer game drew 2.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 million Adults 18-49 and 834,000 young Adults 18-34. Among Adults 18-49…
