UniMás Beat Telemundo for the Sixteenth Consecutive Saturday Night with Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of April 18, 2016 to April 24, 2016

UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the sixteenth consecutive Saturday night, beating Telemundo with Adults 18-49 (+90%) and young Adults 18-34 (+145%).  UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+44%) for the seventh consecutive Saturday night.

  • Season-to-date, UniMás ranks as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+5%), Adults 18-49 (+15%) and young Adults 18-34 (+15%).
    • UniMás kicked off the night with a Cine Cantinflas movie presentation of “El Circo.” The film attracted 676,000 Total Viewers 2+, 285,000 Adults 18-49 and 113,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Following at 9pm, the UniMás feature film “Sniper: Reloaded” built on its lead-in and delivered 706,000 Total Viewers 2+, 358,000 Adults 18-49 and 156,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • UniMás’ back-to-back movie lineup out-delivered Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup including “Qué Noche,” “Detrás de la Fama” and “Reina del Sur” with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

Versus the same week a year ago (04/20/15 – 04/26/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+40%), Adults 18-49 (+32%) and young Adults 18-34 (+33%).

In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+21%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and young Adults 18-34 (+6%) during broadcast prime.

UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+59%) and young Adults 18-34 (+93%), and more than double the Adults 18-49 (+101%) viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax.
