UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network on Saturday Night, Delivering More than Triple the Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34 Viewers than Telemundo

UniMás Delivered More Viewers than the Combined Audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoFox Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

Week of March 23, 2015 to March 29, 2015

UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday night, delivering more than triple the Adults 18-49 (+201%) and young Adults 18-34 (+206%) viewers compared to Telemundo. UniMás also averaged more than double the Total Viewers 2+ (+126%) audience of Telemundo on Saturday night.

  • Season to-date, UniMás is the No. 2 Spanish-language network during Saturday primetime, out-delivering Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+26%), Adults 18-49 (+22%) and young Adults 18-34 (+14%).
  • Thus far in the 14/15 Season, UniMás averaged more Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers 2+ on Saturday nights than Telemundo for 20 out of 27 weeks (74% of the time).
  • Airing live from the L.A. Coliseum, UniMás’ 9 p.m. Mexican National Team match attracted 2.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.5 Million Adults 18-49 and 765,000 young Adults 18-34 on Saturday night. The 1-0 Mexico win over Ecuador was the No. 1 program for the night among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34. In fact, the Saturday night soccer match was the most viewed MNT match since June 6, 2014.

Airing during the 8 p.m. hour (Monday-Friday), UniMás’ feature films grew its audience compared to the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 434,000), Adults 18-49 (+7% to 238,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+13% to 106,000).

Versus a week ago, the 9 p.m. series “Tiro de Gracia” also built its viewership among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 637,000), Adults 18-49 (+17% to 406,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+7% to 175,000).

Week-to-week, UniMás’ 10 p.m. dramatic series “La Esquina del Diablo” grew its Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 274,000) and Adults 18-49 (+1% to 155,000).

UniMás, on average, delivered more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+34%), Adults 18-49 (+82%) and more than double the young Adults 18-34 (+147%).

Compared to the prior week, UniMás increased its prime viewership among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 632,000), Adults 18-49 (+23% to 368,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+22% to 168,000).
