Univision is looking for the next female star. The Hispanic network has officially announced a new music competition show called Reina de la Canción (Queen of Song).
The show, produced by Univision Studios, will feature “Calma” singer Pedro Capó as co-host and artistic director, Sergio George as the musical director and Natti Natasha, Joss Favela, and Olga Tañón as judges.
Reina de la Canción will welcome Latina contestants ages 18 and up, representing all musical genres. The main host will be announced next week during Univision’s Upfront presentation.
Open castings calls will take place this summer starting Saturday, June 1 in Miami, Fla. See the casting schedule below.
