UniMás, the Spanish-language TV network backed by Univision, has picked up a slate of series from Fusion, the cable outlet that is jointly owned by Univision and ABC Newws.

Spanish-language versions of original series from Fusion will be showcased in a new branded block called “Fusion Presenta” that will air Sunday nights 11 p.m.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Fusion programming, developed by and for a young, diverse audience, to UniMas,” said Alberto Ciurana, president of programming and content for Univision, in a prepared statement.

Executives at Fusion see the maneuver as one that generate new awareness for the network, which launched in 2013 and has retooled its focus and schedule as it attempts to lure millennial viewers to its mix of news analysis, satire, documentaries and investigative journalism.

The “Fusion Presenta” block will debut Sunday, September 20 featuring original docu-series “Drug Wars.”
