UniMás’ “Desafío Súper Regiones” Delivers Near Double-Digit Week-Over-Week Growth Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34
“Enamorándonos” Leads UniMás to Wins Over ABC on Wednesday Night and CBS on Thursday Night With Adults 18-34 in the 8 P.M. to 10 P.M. Time Slot
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of January 25, 2021 to January 31, 2021
- UniMás outperformed The CW by double-digit margins during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+10% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+42% adv.), marking the 19th consecutive week in the current 2020/2021 season.
- UniMás averaged 492,000 Total Viewers 2+, 216,000 Adults 18-49 and 91,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week during primetime.
- UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” attracted 610,000 Total Viewers 2+, 243,000 Adults 18-49 and 107,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week. The series also increased its audience by double-digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+14%), Adults 18-49 (+20%) and Adults 18-34 (+22%).
- UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” out-delivered The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+20% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+65% adv.). “Enamorándonos” also positioned UniMás ahead of ABC (+8% adv.) on Wednesday night and CBS (+12% adv.) on Thursday night with Adults 18-34 during its 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. slot. For the second consecutive Thursday night, UniMás outperformed NBC (+5% adv.) and Telemundo (+5% adv.) head-to-head in the 8 p.m. hour among Adults 18-34. “Enamorándonos” out-delivered one or more of the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX or Telemundo) on four out of five weeknights during the 9 p.m. hour among Adults 18-34.
- UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. reality competition series, “Desafío Súper Regiones” grew its audience week-over-week among Adults 18-49 (+9% to 154,000) and Adults 18-34 (+9% to 60,000).
- On Monday night, UniMás’ live coverage of the “Liga MX: Pachuca vs. Cruz Azul” soccer match averaged 513,000 Total Viewers 2+, 280,000 Adults 18-49 and 114,000 Adults 18-34. The game increased the network’s 9:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. time slot by double-to-triple digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+85% to 513,000), Adults 18-49 (+126% to 280,000) and Adults 18-34 (+148% to 114,000). The showdown also delivered double-digit audience growth to the time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+38% to 513,000), Adults 18-49 (+37% to 280,000) and Adults 18-34 (+30% to 114,000).
- UniMás outperformed The CW for the 22nd consecutive Sunday night among Adults 18-49 (+4% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+13% adv.) during primetime. Airing from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., live coverage of the “Selección Nacional Estados Unidos: Estados Unidos vs. Trinidad y Tobago” soccer match kicked off the night averaging 306,000 Total Viewers 2+, 142,000 Adults 18-49 and 55,000 Adults 18-34. Following at 9:30 p.m., the special movie presentation of “CineMás: Non-Stop” attracted 469,000 Total Viewers 2+, 228,000 Adults 18-49 and 94,000 Adults 18-34. The film delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+25% to 469,000), Adults 18-49 (+24% to 228,000) and Adults 18-34 (+81% to 94,000). The movie also increased its audience by double-digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+34%), Adults 18-49 (+23%) and Adults 18-34 (+39%).
- UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+91% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+123% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+146% adv.).
