UniMás Outperforms Telemundo With Double-Digit Audience Advantages on Sunday Night Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 21, 2020 to December 27, 2020

  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered Telemundo by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+31% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+10% adv.) with a movie line-up that included “Cineplex: Smokin’ Aces” and “CineMás: War.” UniMás also outperformed The CW by triple-digit margins for the entire night among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. This marked the 17th straight Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and the sixth consecutive Sunday night among Total Viewers 2+. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience gains to the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+33% to 678,000), Adults 18-49 (+35% to 337,000) and Adults 18-34 (+95% to 143,000) and also delivered double-digit audience gains to the time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and Adults 18-34 (+13%).
  • UniMás out-delivered The CW during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+100% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+162% adv.), marking the 14th consecutive week in the current 2020/2021 season. UniMás also topped The CW in primetime for the 49th and 52nd consecutive week in 2020 among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás delivered 414,000 Total Viewers 2+, 192,000 Adults 18-49 and 74,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime.
  • In its premiere week, UniMás “La Biblia” attracted 456,000 Total Viewers 2+, 196,000 Adults 18-49 and 69,000 Adults 18-34, delivering year-over-year audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+20%) and Adults 18-49 (+2%). The historical drama series positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+68% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+112% adv.) and ahead of FOX with Adults 18-34. “La Biblia” also drew in more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of FOX’s “Next” as well as The CW’s “Swamp Thing” and “Tell Me a Story.”
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and Telexitos for the entire week during primetime with triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+490% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+748% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+660% adv.).
