UniMás Reports Primetime Audience Growth Week-Over-Week Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás Outperforms NBC With Double-Digit Audience Advantages for Second Consecutive Saturday Night Among Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 14, 2020 to December 20, 2020

  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” attracted 684,000 Total Viewers 2+, 289,000 Adults 18-49 and 121,000 Adults 18-34. This marked the highest-rated weekly performance among Adults 18-49 since its return on September 14th, 2020. The series increased its audience week-over-week among all key demographics. The program also grew its audience in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), Adults 18-49 (+14%) and Adults 18-34 (+35%). The program delivered audience growth to network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+14%), Adults 18-49 (+6%) and Adults 18-34 (+32%).
    • UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” out-delivered one or more of the major English-language broadcast networks (CBS, NBC or FOX) on four out of five weeknights during its 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. airing among Adults 18-34. “Enamorándonos” bested Telemundo’s “El Domo del Dinero” by double-digit margins during the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. hour among Adults 18-49 (+25% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+12% adv.). UniMás also delivered more Adults 18-49 (+16% adv.) than Telemundo during the weeknight 8 p.m. hour. “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+37% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+145% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+181% adv.).
    • The reality series drew in more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of ABC’s “For Life;” CBS’ “Unicorn” and “Star Trek: Discovery;” FOX’s “Next,” “LA’s Finest” and “Cosmos: Possible Worlds” as well as The CW’s “Devils,” “Swamp Thing,” “The Outpost” and “Tell Me a Story.”
  • UniMás delivered 532,000 Total Viewers 2+, 232,000 Adults 18-49 and 93,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime. UniMás grew its primetime audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 532,000) and Adults 18-49 (+3% to 232,000). UniMás also attracted more Adult 18-34 viewers (+7% to 93,000) during primetime versus the same week in 2019.
  • UniMás out-delivered The CW during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+104% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+138% adv.), marking the second straight week among Total Viewers 2+ and the 13th consecutive week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 in the current 2020/2021 season. UniMás also topped The CW in primetime for the 48th and 51st consecutive week in 2020 year-to-date among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. novela series, “La Bella y Las Bestias” attracted 237,000 Total Viewers 2+, 113,000 Adults 18-49 and 55,000 Adults 18-34. The novela series increased its audience week-over-week by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (22%), Adults 18-49 (+43%) and Adults 18-34 (+53%). The program also delivered double-digit year-over-year audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period among Adults 18-34 (+41%).
  • UniMás outperformed NBC by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 (+25% adv.) for the second consecutive Saturday night with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Transporter 2” and “CineNight: Vacation”). The line-up increased the network’s 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time slot by double-digits week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% to 538,000). The movie line-up also delivered audience growth to the time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 538,000) and Adults 18-49 (+7% to 209,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Empire State” and “CineMás: American Gangster”). This marked the 16th straight Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and the fifth consecutive Sunday night among Total Viewers 2+. The line-up delivered double-digit audience gains to the network’s 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Adults 18-49 (+10% to 238,000).
    • UniMás’ 6 p.m. airing of “Cineplex: Empire State” attracted 513,000 Total Viewers 2+, 248,000 Adults 18-49 and 92,000 Adults 18-34. The film topped Telemundo during the 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. time period among Adults 18-34 (+2% adv.). The movie increased its audience by double-digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+51%), Adults 18-49 (+60%) and Adults 18-34 (+32%). The feature film also delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 513,000) and Adults 18-49 (+34% to 248,000).
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+114% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+164% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+200% adv.).
