UniMás Increases Primetime Audience Week-Over-Week By Double-Digits Across Key Demos, Outperforms The CW for Ninth Straight Week with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34
Reality Series “Enamorándonos” Delivers Highest-Rated Weekly Performance Since Return Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of November 16, 2020 to November 22, 2020
- UniMás delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth in primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+17% to 492,000) and Adults 18-49 (+15% to 225,000).
- UniMás outperformed The CW during primetime for the ninth consecutive week in the current 2020/2021 season among Adults 18-49 (+38% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+72% adv.). UniMás also topped The CW in primetime for the 4th and 47th consecutive week in 2020 year-to-date among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
- UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” delivered week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 617,000) and Adults 18-49 (+6% to 254,000) for the second consecutive week. This marked its highest-rated weekly performance since its return on September 14th, 2020 with Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49. The reality series delivered audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%), Adults 18-49 (+5%) and Adults 18-34 (+4%).
- “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+27% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+67% adv.).
- The reality series drew in more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of ABC’s “Black-ish;” FOX’s “Filthy Rich;” as well as The CW’s “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” “Penn & Teller,” “Swamp Thing,” “Devils,” “Tell Me a Story,” “World’s Funniest Animals” and “Coroner.”
- On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed The CW by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+102% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+368% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+492% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Law Abiding Citizen” and the Spanish Premiere of “Cineplex: Logan”). This marked the twelfth consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has outperformed The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up also delivered double-digit audience gains to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+68% to 637,000), Adults 18-49 (+49% to 332,000) and Adults 18-34 (+39% to 148,000).
- UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+160% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+178% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+185% adv.).
