UniMás Outperforms The CW With Double-Digit Audience Wins In Primetime for the Second Consecutive Week Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 28, 2020 to October 4, 2020
- UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” averaged 510,000 Total Viewers 2+, 207,000 Adults 18-49 and 91,000 Adults 18-34, marking its highest-rated weekly performance since its return on September 14th, 2020. Since its return the reality series delivered its highest-rated telecast among all key demos on Wednesday night and bested NBC and Telemundo in the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot among Adults 18-34. In fact, UniMás also outperformed NBC (+14% adv.) and Telemundo (+2% adv.) in the 9pm hour among Adults 18-34 on Wednesday night. The reality series delivered audience growth week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, marking the series’ second consecutive week of audience gains. The show also increased its audience hour-to-hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+5%), Adults 18-49 (+10%) and Adults 18-34 (+2%). Versus the prior four weeks average, the program delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+37%), Adults 18-49 (+29%) and Adults 18-34 (+44%). The reality series also grew its audience by double-digits in the time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+83%), Adults 18-49 (+40%) and Adults 18-34 (+40%). “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+22% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+90% adv.).
- UniMás attracted 418,000 Total Viewers 2+, 180,000 Adults 18-49 and 71,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime for the entire week. UniMás also delivered double-digit primetime audience growth year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 418,000), marking the fourth straight week of double-digit audience gains among this demographic. UniMás bested The CW by double-digits during primetime for the second consecutive week in the current 2020/2021 season among Adults 18-49 (+24% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+78% adv.). UniMás also topped The CW in primetime for the 37th and 40th consecutive week in 2020 year-to-date among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
- UniMás’ Friday night movie presentation, “Cineplex: The Shepherd: Border Patrol” attracted 309,000 Total Viewers 2+, 132,000 Adults 18-49 and 62,000 Adults 18-34. The film delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+13%). The movie also averaged more viewers to the time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+18%), Adults 18-49 (+17%) and Adults 18-34 (+68%). UniMás topped The CW in the Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
- On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos by triple-digit margins across all key demos with the movie line-up (“CineNight: Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” and “CineNight: Ghost in the Shell”). The line-up also increased the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period by double-digits week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+52% to 79,000).
- UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+96% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+177% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+196% adv.).
