UniMás Reports Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth for 32nd Straight Week Among All Key Demos

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 25, 2020 to May 31, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed CBS (+3% adv.), FOX (+168% adv.) and Telemundo (+10% adv.) among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: 300: Rise of an Empire” and CineNight: Run All Night”). UniMás also out-delivered FOX and Telemundo by double to triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 for the entire night. This also marked the ninth and third consecutive Saturday that UniMás has out-delivered FOX among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, respectively. The line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+39% to 445,000), Adults 18-49 (+47% to 209,000) and Adults 18-34 (+22% to 72,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered FOX and The CW for the entire night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Ip Man 3” and “CineMás: Red Dawn”). UniMás also outperformed The CW (+64% adv.) by double-digits among Total Viewers 2+ for the entire night. This marked the 25th consecutive Sunday that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up increased the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 660,000) and Adults 18-34 (+18% to 136,000). The line-up also delivered year-over-year audience growth to the time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 660,000), Adults 18-49 (+6% to 320,000) and Adults 18-34 (+11% to 136,000).
  • UniMás delivered primetime audience growth week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+4% to 79,000). UniMás also delivered audience growth year-over-year during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 434,000), Adults 18-49 (+21% to 210,000) and Adults 18-34 (+25% to 79,000), marking the 32nd consecutive week of audience growth.
  • UniMás outperformed The CW for the entire week by double-digits during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+31% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+44% adv.), marking the 19th and 24th consecutive week that it has out-delivered The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. novela series, “Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül” delivered week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 489,000), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 229,000) and Adults 18-34 (+21% to 85,000). UniMás also increased the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. time period by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+66%), Adults 18-49 (+82%) and Adults 18-34 (+44%). “Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül” also positioned UniMás ahead of The CW for the entire week among Adults 18-49 (+12% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+23% adv.) in the 8pm hour.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 9 p.m. adventure reality competition series, “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema” increased the network’s Monday to Friday 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 321,000). The reality series also delivered double-digit audience growth year-over-year for the third consecutive week among Adults 18-34 (+25% to 60,000).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10:30 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” grew the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period by double-digit margins year-over-year for the third consecutive week among Total Viewers 2+ (+51% to 231,000), Adults 18-49 (+45% to 112,000) and Adults 18-34 (+20% to 36,000).
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+99% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+188% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+163% adv.).
