UniMás Delivers Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth for the 28th Consecutive Week Across All Key Demos

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of April 27, 2020 to May 3, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed ABC, CBS, FOX and Telemundo for the entire night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. This marked the second consecutive Saturday that UniMás out-delivered ABC, CBS and FOX during primetime with Adults 18-34. UniMás’ movie line-up that included “Cineplex: 300” and “CineNight: Predators”:
    • Delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Adults 18-49 (+13% to 323,000).
    • Increased the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period by double-digits year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+65% to 609,000), Adults 18-49 (+95% to 323,000) and Adults 18-34 (+49% to 112,000).
    • UniMás also outperformed Telemundo by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% adv.) for the entire night.
  • UniMás outperformed The CW and Telemundo by double-to-triple-digit margins for the second consecutive Sunday night among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Taken 2” and “CineMás: Run All Night”). This also marks the seventh consecutive Sunday that UniMás has out-delivered The CW across all key demos. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% to 830,000) and Adults 18-49 (+13% to 378,000) versus the previous Sunday. The movie line-up also increased the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+60% to 830,000), Adults 18-49 (+43% to 378,000) and Adults 18-34 (+63% to 140,000).
  • UniMás increased its primetime audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+4%). UniMás also out-delivered The CW for the entire week during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+20% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+37% adv.), marking the fifteenth and twentieth consecutive week that it has outperformed The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás delivered double-digit primetime audience growth year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+43% to 516,000), Adults 18-49 (+46% to 253,000) and Adults 18-34 (+45% to 96,000), marking the 28th consecutive week of audience growth.
  • In the current 2019/2020 season, UniMás is averaging double-digit audience growth during primetime versus the previous season among Total Viewers 2+ (+42% to 514,000), Adults 18-49 (+47% to 248,000) and Adults 18-34 (+39% to 103,000).
  • Airing into prime, the 7 p.m. novela series, “Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül” increased week-over-week among Adults 18-49 (+4% to 239,000) and Adults 18-34 (+12% to 83,000), marking the highest-rated weekly performance among Adult 18-49 viewers. The novela series also grew the network’s Monday to Friday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. time period by double-to-triple digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (505,000), Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
  • The 9 p.m. comedy series, “Nosotros los Guapos” delivered double to triple-digit audience growth year-over-year to the network’s Monday to Friday 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+43% to 381,000), Adults 18-49 (+64% to 203,000) and Adults 18-34 (+124% to 94,000). UniMás also outperformed The CW during the Monday to Friday 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+31% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+71% adv.) for the entire week.
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+115% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+233% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+284% adv.) for the entire week. UniMás is also outperforming the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by double to triple-digit margins in the current 2019/2020 season among all key demos.
