UniMás Delivers Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth For Fourteenth Consecutive Week Across All Key Demos

- On Sunday night, UniMás’ movie line-up including, “CineMás: The Expendables 2” and “CineMás: The Expendables 3”:
- Made UniMás the No. 4 Broadcast network on Sunday night with Adults 18-34, out-delivering FOX (+69% adv.), NBC (+31% adv.), The CW (+138% adv.) and Telemundo (+9% adv.).
- Outperformed FOX (+23% adv.) and The CW (+115% adv.) among Adults 18-49 for the entire night.
- UniMás outperformed The CW with double-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% adv.).
- Marked the seventh consecutive Sunday night UniMás outperformed The CW across all key demos.
- Week-to-week double-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+35% to 801,000), Adults 18-49 (+44% to 431,000) and Adults 18-34 (+60% to 182,000) to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period.
- With an average audience of 477,000 Adults 18-49, UniMás’ 8:30 p.m. airing of “The Expendables 3” currently ranks as the highest-rated primetime feature film in the current 2019/2020 season on Spanish-language Television.
- Additionally, “The Expendables 3” attracted more Adults 18-49 than the second airing of Telemundo’s “La Voz II” (+6% adv.; 477,000 vs. 452,000) as well as more Adults 18-34 (+14% adv. 191,000 vs. 168,000).
- UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” averaged its highest-rated weekly performance since its premiere with week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 680,000), Adults 18-49 (+13% to 341,000) and Adults 18-34 (+22% to 148,000), marking the second consecutive week of audience growth with Total Viewers 2+.
- This week marked the third consecutive week (since returning from a two-week hiatus on January 6th) that “Enamorandonos” surpasses the 300,000 Adults 18-49 for the entire week in the current season.
- The reality series drew in more Adults 18-34 than first-run episodes of ABC’s “Stumptown,” “American Housewife,” ”Fresh Off the Boat,” “Black-ish” and “Emergence,” The CW’s “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “Supernatural,” “Legacies,” “All American,” “Charmed,” “Batwoman,” “Supergirl,” “Black Lightning,” “Nancy Drew” and “Dynasty” and the Finale of NBC’s “Perfect Harmony.”
- UniMás delivered its highest-rated weekly performance during primetime in the current 2019/2020 season with 629,000 Total Viewers 2+, 314,000 Adults 18-49 and 133,000 Adults 18-34. The network also achieved its highest-rated weekly performance since the week of May 28th, 2018.
- UniMás ranked as the No. 5 Broadcast network among Adults 18-34 on Friday night, outperforming NBC (+30% adv.), CBS (+17% adv.) and The CW (+295% adv.).
- UniMás achieved double-digit year-over-year audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+70% to 629,000), Adults 18-49 (+77% to 314,000) and Adults 18-34 (+68% to 133,000), marking the fourteenth consecutive week of audience growth.
- For the entire week, UniMás delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+13% to 629,000), Adults 18-49 (+19% to 314,000) and Adults 18-34 (+22% to 133,000).
- In the current 2019/2020 season, UniMás is averaging double-digit audience growth versus comparable dates in the previous season among Total Viewers 2+ (+33% to 468,000), Adults 18-49 (+38% to 225,000) and Adults 18-34 (+30% to 95,000).
- UniMás out-delivered The CW in primetime with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+31% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+49% adv.), marking the sixth consecutive week it has outperformed the network among Adults 18-34.
- UniMás’ weeknight late prime program, “Esta Historia Me Suena” averaged its highest-rated weekly performance in the Monday through Friday 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. time period with double-digit week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+22% to 195,000) and Adults 18-49 (+29% to 88,000), marking the second consecutive week of audience growth among Total Viewers 2+. The late-night series also attracted more Adults 18-34 (+8% to 40,000) versus the previous week.
- On Saturday night, UniMás’ movie line-up including, “Cineplex: The Italian Job” and “Cinenight: Mission: Impossible, Ghost Protocol;” delivered more Adults 18-49 than FOX (+18% adv.) and more Adults 18-34 than FOX (+73% adv.) and CBS (+45% adv.) for the entire night. The Saturday night movie-lineup also increased UniMás’ Saturday 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+24% to 598,000) and Adults 18-49 (+9% to 278,000).
- UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+131% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+220% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+269% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
