UniMás Delivers Highest-Rated Weekly Primetime Performance in the Current 2019/2020 Season With Double-Digit Audience Growth Across All Key Demos
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of January 6, 2020 to January 12, 2020
- UniMás delivered its highest-rated weekly performance during primetime in the current 2019/2020 season with 558,000 Total Viewers 2+, 282,000 Adults 18-49 and 115,000 Adults 18-34.
- UniMás achieved double-digit year-over-year audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+79% to 558,000), Adults 18-49 (+93% to 282,000) and Adults 18-34 (+58% to 115,000), marking the twelfth consecutive week of audience growth.
- For the entire week, UniMás delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+13% to 282,000) and Adults 18-34 (+19% to 115,000). UniMás also increased its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 558,000), marking the third consecutive week of audience growth with Adults 18-34 and second consecutive week with Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.
- UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” averaged its highest-rated weekly performance since its premiere among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The reality series also increased its primetime audience by double-digit margins week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+24% to 598,000), Adults 18-49 (+24% to 306,000) and Adults 18-34 (+35% to 124,000) versus the previous week.
- In the current 2019/2020 season, UniMás is also averaging double-digit audience growth versus comparable dates in the previous season among Total Viewers 2+ (+29% to 453,000), Adults 18-49 (+32% to 217,000) and Adults 18-34 (+26% to 92,000).
- Marking the fourth consecutive week, UniMás out-delivered The CW in primetime, outperforming the network with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+57% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+105% adv.).
- Driven by Saturday night’s airing of “Cinenight: The Dark Knight,” UniMás increased its Saturday 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+13% to 319,000) and Adults 18-34 (+36% to 140,000).
- On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+28% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+49% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cineplex: First Kill” and “CineMás: Exodus: Gods & Kings,” marking the fifth consecutive Sunday that it has outperformed The CW. The Sunday night movie-lineup also delivered audience gains among Adults 18-49 (+9% to 346,000) to the network’s 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
- UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+101% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+176% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+219% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
