UniMás Outperforms The CW for Thirteenth Consecutive Sunday Night By Double-Digits Among Adults 18-49

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 19, 2019 to August 25, 2019

  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the thirteenth consecutive Sunday by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+36% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas: Ip Man 2” and “Cine De Las Estrellas: Ip Man 3”. UniMás also reported double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-34 (+61% adv.) over The CW for the night. The Sunday night movie-lineup also delivered double-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 503,000), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 239,000) and Adults 18-34 (+36% to 87,000) to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • For the entire week, UniMás delivered week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Adults 18-34 (+6% to 57,000).
  • On Monday night, UniMás’ movie presentation of “Cineplex: The Adventures of Tintin” delivered double-digit audience growth among Adults 18-34 (+32% to 70,000) to the networks’ 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • On Wednesday night, UniMás’ airing of “Major League Soccer 2019 LAFC vs San Jose Earthquakes” delivered double-to-triple-digit audience growth to the network’s 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time period versus the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (+97% to 246,000), Adults 18-49 (+93% to 133,000) and Adults 18-34 (+750% to 68,000). The match also out-delivered The CW’s first-run episode of “Hypnotize Me” among Adults 18-34.
  • UniMás’ Friday night airing of “Cineplex: The Taking of Pelham 123,” increased its Friday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+27% to 182,000), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 108,000) and Adults 18-34 (+53% to 49,000).
  • Driven by Saturday night’s movie line-up including, “Cineplex: Gone Baby Gone” and “Cineplex: Ghost Rider,” UniMás increased its Saturday 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time period week-to-week among Adults 18-49 (+5% to 163,000) and Adults 18-34 (+50% to 75,000).
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+29% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+80% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+78% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
