UniMás Delivers Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth For Sixth and Ninth Consecutive Week Among Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49, Respectively

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 12, 2019 to August 18, 2019

  • UniMás delivered double-digit year-over-year audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+40% to 396,000) and Adults 18-49 (+31% to 173,000), marking the sixth and ninth consecutive week of audience growth with Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers 2+, respectively.
  • On Monday night, the finale of the epic series “Jesus” delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+27% to 678,000), Adults 18-49 (+49% to 254,000) and Adults 18-34 (+58% to 60,000) than its first airing on the UniMás network.
  • During its finale week, UniMás’ “Inseparables, Amor Al Límite” averaged more Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 353,000), Adults 18-49 (+2% to 187,000) and Adults 18-34 (+7% to 90,000) than the prior week. The finale telecast of “Inseparables, Amor Al Límite” which aired on Thursday night delivered audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+29% to 332,000), Adults 18-49 (+50% to 172,000) and Adults 18-34 (+60% to 77,000) compared to its premiere telecast.
  • In its premiere week, UniMás’ “Apocalipsis” increased the network’s Monday through Friday 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time period among Adults 18-49 (+2% to 205,000) and Adults 18-34 (+15% to 61,000) versus the prior week.
  • UniMás’ weeknight news program, “Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna” increased the network’s weeknight 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period by double-digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+52% to 352,000) and Adults 18-49 (+20% to 147,000) compared to the same week in 2018.
  • For the twelfth consecutive Sunday, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+42% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas: Ghost Rider” and “Cine De Las Estrellas: Police Story: Lockdown.”
  • Driven by Saturday night’s movie line-up including, “Cineplex: Miami Vice” and “Cineplex: Contagion,” UniMás increased its Saturday 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% to 378,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% to 144,000).
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+58% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+106% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+42% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
