UniMás Delivers Highest-Rated Weekly Primetime Performance in the Current 2018/2019 Season with Double-Digit Audience Growth Across All Key Demos

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 17, 2019 to June 23, 2019

  • UniMás delivered its highest-rated weekly performance during primetime in the current 2018/2019 season with 514,000 Total Viewers 2+, 245,000 Adults 18-49 and 105,000 Adults 18-34.
  • For the entire week, UniMás delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 514,000), Adults 18-49 (+30% to 245,000) and Adults 18-34 (+46% to 105,000).
  • UniMás delivered year-over-year growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 514,000), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 245,000) and Adults 18-34 (+13% to 105,000).
  • On Monday night, UniMás’ airing of “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: Jamaica vs. Honduras” delivered triple-digit audience growth to the network’s 9:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. time period versus the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (+146% to 739,000), Adults 18-49 (+228% to 381,000) and Adults 18-34 (+419% to 161,000).
  • On Tuesday night, UniMás outperformed The CW for the entire night by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (21% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+23% adv.) and also among Total Viewers 2+ (+1% adv.) with the special live coverage of “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: Panamá vs. Trinidad y Tobago” and “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: USA vs. Guyana.”
    • Panamá vs Trinidad y Tobago delivered audience growth to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. time period versus the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 378,000) and Adults 18-49 (+1% to 178,000).
    • USA vs Guyana delivered 877,000 Total Viewers 2+, 433,000 Adults 18-49 and 182,000 Adults 18-34. It ranked among the top 10 most-watched programs on broadcast television with more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of The CW’s “The Hundred” and Telemundo’s “Copa América 2019: Bolivia vs. Perú” and “Hoy En La Copa América Brasil 2019”.
  • On Thursday night, UniMás’ special live coverage of “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: Costa Rica vs. Bermuda” increased the network’s 9:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. time period by double-to-triple digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+88% to 580,000), Adults 18-49 (+135% to 294,000) and Adults 18-34 (+152% to 116,000) versus the previous week.
  • On Friday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+103% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+146% adv.) with a line-up that included special live coverage of “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: El Salvador vs Jamaica” and “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: Honduras vs. Curazao”.
    • El Salvador vs. Jamaica increased the network’s 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. time period by double-digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+46% to 510,000), Adults 18-49 (+71% to 256,000) and Adults 18-34 (+86% to 141,000) versus the prior week.
    • Honduras vs. Curazao delivered 825,000 Total Viewers 2+, 424,000 Adults 18-49 and 214,000 Adults 18-34. It was the fourth most-watched program on broadcast television with more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of The CW’s “Masters of Illusion” and “The Big Stage”, ABC’s “Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, CBS’S “Whistleblower”, NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” and Telemundo’s “Copa América 2019: Ecuador vs. Chile”.
  • For the fifth consecutive Sunday, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+73% adv.; 230,000 vs. 133,000) and Adults 18-34 (+110% adv.; 101,000 vs. 48,000) and also among Total Viewers 2+ (+1% adv.; 465,000 vs. 459,000) with a line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas: Wanted” and “Cine de las Estrellas: Smokin’ Aces.”
  • UniMás’ Monday night airing of “Cineplex: Reasonable Doubt,” increased its Monday 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+16% to 299,000) and Adults 18-34 (+31% to 55,000) and also among Adults 18-49 (+4% to 126,000).
  • On Wednesday night, UniMás’ movie presentation of “Cineplex: Enough” delivered audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+1% to 376,000), Adults 18-49 (+17% to 181,000) and Adults 18-34 (+9% to 58,000) to the networks’ 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+125% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+231% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+275% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
