Global Superstars J Balvin, CNCO, Karol G, Mau y Ricky, Ozuna and Pitbull Join the Awaited Summer Award Show
For the First Time, Cedella Marley, Skip Marley and The Wailers Will Be Joined by Pedro Capó, Rauw Alejandro, Camilo and Kany García for a Powerful Performance on Love, Justice and Inclusion

MIAMI – JULY 29, 2020 – Univision’s “Premios Juventud” (Youth Awards) continues to add performers to its star-studded lineup and today announced 20 more superstars who will take the stage of the historic event. The summer award show will take place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event will air on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT) on Univision.
Amongst the very special moments on this historic night, #PremiosJuventud audiences will enjoy a first ever, PJ only version of The Wailer’s new release that will send an important message of love, justice and inclusion; The Wailers will be joined , on-stage, by Cedella and Skip Marley (daughter and grandson of the legendary Bob Marley), Pedro Capó, Rauw Alejandro, Camilo and Kany García. Pitbull, Mr. Worldwide, will surprise fans with a first ever TV performance of his own inspirational theme, calling for hope and resilience.
The global stars joining the first big event in Spanish-language television during the pandemic are J Balvin, Ally Brooke, Cali y El Dandee, Natanael Cano, Pedro Capó, CNCO, Karol G, Kany García, Greeicy, Skip Marley, Cedella Marley, Mau y Ricky, Ozuna, Rafa Pabón, Danna Paola, Pitbull, Alex Rose, The Wailers, Sebastian Yatra and Zion y Lennox.
- J Balvin – This year’s top nominee and “Premio Lo Nuestro” Global Music Icon award recipient will take the stage for an unforgettable performance. Balvin has 12 nominations.
- Ally Brooke – Brooke returns to #PremiosJuventud as a solo artist after having performed in the past with Fifth Harmony.
- Natanael Cano – The young Mexican urban regional star will perform at #PremiosJuventud for the first time. Cano has 3 nominations.
- Pedro Capó – One of the hottest Latin music stars of the moment, will be a part of the show’s opening. Capó has 1 nomination.
- CNCO – The mega popular band returns to #PremiosJuventud to delight their fans with a special number. CNCO has 2 nominations.
- Karol G – The Latin superstar is the top female nominee of the night. Karol has 9 nominations.
- Kany García – The acclaimed singer-songwriter reached over 30,000 viewers world-wide with her online concert “Mesa Para Dos.” García has 1 nomination.
- Greeicy – The talented singer will be a part of special musical number on stage. Greeicy has 1 nomination.
- Mau y Ricky – The sensational duo will premiere on TV their latest single “Papás.” Mau y Ricky have 2 nominations.
- Ozuna – The reggaeton and Latin trap superstar broke 116M views online in just one month with his summer single “Caramelo.” Ozuna has 2 nominations.
- Rafa Pabón – One of the most vocal artists supporting social justice campaigns will perform his hits “Sin Aire” and “Mirala.”
- Pitbull – Mr. Worldwide will perform his hit “I Believe that We Will Win.” Pitbull has 2 nominations.
- Alex Rose – With more than 200M views online, El Rey del Jangueo (the king of hanging out) will perform one of his summer hits.
- Sebastián Yatra, Cali y El Dandee and Danna Paola – Latin sensation and #PremiosJuventud host Sebastián Yatra will take the stage to perform his latest tunes. Cali y El Dandee will join Yatra for a memorable performance of “Locura.” He will also perform “No Bailes Sola,” along the popular singer Danna Paola. Yatra has 4 nominations.
To recognize those who have gone above and beyond during this trying year, #PremiosJuventud will celebrate everyday heroes and frontline workers as they will be featured in special video messages, will join artists presenting and will also join from home as part of this year’s exclusive virtual audience.
As previously announced, global music superstar Ricky Martin and Latin music star Becky G, will receive the “Agent of Change” award for using their star power for a good cause. The diverse hosts of the three-hour event are Julissa Calderon, Ana Patricia Gámez, Francisca Lachapel, Borja Voces and Sebastián Yatra. Univision’s personality Migbelis Castellanos joins Jomari Goyso and Amara La Negra as host of the one-hour pre-show PJ Takeover, which begins at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. CT).

Entre los momentos más especiales de la histórica noche, la audiencia de #PremiosJuventud disfrutará por primera vez de una versión exclusiva para PJ del nuevo lanzamiento de The Wailers, que enviará un mensaje importante de amor, justicia e inclusión. Los acompañarán también en el escenario Cedella y Skip Marley (hija y nieto del legendario Bob Marley), Pedro Capó, Rauw Alejandro, Camilo y Kany García. Como se anunció anteriormente, la superestrella de la música internacional Ricky Martin y la estrella de la música latina Becky G recibirán el premio a “Agentes de Cambio” por usar su influencia estelar para beneficio de una causa noble. Los diversos conductores del evento de tres horas son Julissa Calderón, Ana Patricia Gámez, Francisca Lachapel, Borja Voces y Sebastián Yatra. La personalidad Migbelis Castellanos de Univision se unirá a Jomari Goyso y Amara La Negra como conductora de PJ Takeover, programa de antesala de una hora, que empezará a las 7 p.m. Este/Pacífico (6 p.m. Centro).
