MIAMI – FEBRUARY 12, 2020 – Univision today added more artists to perform in the first Latin Music celebration of the decade in the U.S., Premio Lo Nuestro (PLN) 2020. The star-studded lineup has expanded with more worldwide stars as well as new emerging artists. The show will air live on Thursday, February 20, at 7p.m. ET/PT (6p.m. CT).
This year, legendary Spanish superstar and “Divo of the Romantic Ballad” Raphael will be awarded the Premio Lo Nuestro “Award of Excellence” recognizing his lengthy career and more than 80 hit albums. In honor of his very first appearance in PLN, he will perform a medley of his latest hits and classic songs, featuring a surprise visit from two musical powerhouses.
Newly added to the musical line-up on this 32nd edition of the longest-running award show on Spanish-language TV are:
- Mexican brother and sister duo Jesse & Joy, previous winners of 4 PLN awards and nominated for 2 this year, performing their latest singles “Tanto” and, for the first time on TV, “Lo Nuestro Vale Más”
- Mexican Pop legend and “Tour of the Year” nominee Gloria Trevi, making her grand return to the PLN stage since 2016
- Puerto Rican Urban artist and first-time nominee for “Song of the Year – Urban/Trap” Jhay Cortez, taking the PLN stage for the first time
- International superstar and winner of 7 previous PLN awards Pitbull. With 2 nominations and this year’s co-host, Mr. Worldwide will perform a medley of his latest hits, including one with American rapper Lil Jon and Puerto Rican emerging artist Chesca, both making their first appearance on PLN
- First-time performer, Puerto Rican singer/songwriter, Rauw Alejandro
- Sebastián Yatra, Colombian pop artist and this year’s second most nominated (10), in a special performance
- Mexican singer/songwriter Amandititita, making her PLN debut
- Puerto Rican emerging artist Guaynaa, appearing for the first time on PLN and performing “Taxi” with and first-time nominee for “Female Debut Artist” Mariah, during the “Noche de Estrellas” pre-show
- Colombian band Morat making their PLN debut in “Noche de Estrellas” pre-show

This year’s two global ambassadors and superstars of Latin music, Pitbull and Thalía, will host Premio Lo Nuestro for the first time, joined by one of Univision’s most beloved personalities, Alejandra Espinoza.
Premio Lo Nuestro’s nominations honor airplay on Uforia radio during the eligibility period of Jan. 1 through Oct. 31, 2019. The winners have been selected by the fans during the voting period on PremioLoNuestro.com.

El legendario artista Raphael, en su primera presentación en PLN, recibirá un galardón especial, el “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia”
MIAMI –12 DE FEBRERO DE 2020– Univision anunció hoy a más artistas que participarán en la primera ceremonia a la música latina de la década en Estados Unidos, Premio Lo Nuestro (PLN) 2020. La lista de grandes celebridades que se presentarán se expandió con más estrellas mundiales y también artistas nuevos. El programa se trasmitirá en vivo el jueves, 20 de febrero de 2020 a las 7p.m. Este/Pacífico (6p.m. Centro).
Este año, Raphael, la legendaria superestrella española y “Divo de la balada romántica”, recibirá el “Premio a la Excelencia” de PLN en un reconocimiento de su larga trayectoria y más de 80 álbumes exitosos. En honor a su primera actuación en PLN, presentará un popurrí de sus más recientes éxitos y canciones clásicas, con una visita sorpresa de dos superestrellas musicales.
Los recién agregados a los actos musicales de la 32a edición del programa de premiación de más larga trayectoria en la televisión en español son:
- el dúo de hermanos mexicanos Jesse & Joy, ganadores de 4 PLN en el pasado y nominados a 2 este año, quienes entonarán sus canciones recientes, entre ellas “Tanto” y, por primera vez en la televisión, “Lo nuestro vale más”
- Gloria Trevi, legendaria intérprete mexicana de pop y nominada a “Tour del Año” de PLN, quien regresa al escenario de PLN por primera vez desde 2016
- Jhay Cortez, artista puertorriqueño de música urbana y nominado por primera vez a “Canción del Año – Urbana/Trap”, quien se presentará en PLN por primera vez
- la superestrella internacional Pitbull “ Worldwide”, ganador de 7 PLN y nominado a 2 este año, quien será uno de los presentadores e interpretará un popurrí de sus más recientes éxitos, incluido uno con el rapero estadounidense Lil Jon y la nueva artista puertorriqueña Chesca, quienes se presentarán por primera vez en PLN
- el cantautor puertorriqueño Rauw Alejandro, por primera vez en PLN
- Sebastián Yatra, artista de pop colombiano y segundo entre artistas con más nominaciones este año (10), en una presentación especial
- la cantautora mexicana Amandititita, quien hará su estreno en PLN
- el nuevo artista emergente puertorriqueño Guaynaa, en su debut en PLN para cantar “Taxi” con Mariah, nominada por primera vez a “Artista Revelación Femenina”, durante el programa de antesala “Noche de Estrellas”
- el grupo colombiano Morat, que saldrá por primera vez en PLN en el programa de antesala “Noche de Estrellas”
