Complete Video To Air On Univision’s “Aquí Y Ahora” This Sunday
Defying the regime’s extreme censorship, Univision News sources in Venezuela gained access to a copy of the contentious interview that took place in Caracas on Feb. 25, 2019 and was abruptly interrupted and confiscated by Maduro after only 17 minutes
Excerpts will air on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31 in the evening and late night editions of “Noticiero Univision,” and in “Al Punto” on Sunday, June 2nd; the interview will be broadcast in its entirety on “Aquí y Ahora,” Sunday, June 2nd at 7 pm ET/PT
The full interview will also be available on all Univision News digital and social media platforms
WHAT: The highly contentious interview that led to the temporary, unlawful detainment of Univision News anchor Jorge Ramos and his production crew in Caracas in February of this year has finally been obtained by Univision News and will air for the first time ever this coming Sunday on Univision’s primetime newsmagazine “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now). It will also be available on all Univision News digital and social media platforms. The original memory card that contained the interview, along with all other Univision equipment, was confiscated by the Maduro regime immediately following the interview.
Three months after the much publicized incident, Univision News sources working both inside and outside of Venezuela were able to gain access to a copy of the interview, which was abruptly interrupted by an enraged Maduro 17 minutes into the conversation.
Audiences will now see, with their own eyes, exactly what happened during those 17 minutes, and learn why Maduro disliked Ramos’s questions to the point of illegally holding him for hours, incommunicado, in a room within the Miraflores presidential palace. Ramos and his team were expelled from Venezuela the next morning. The seized technical equipment and original memory card have never been returned to Univision.

Univision Noticias Obtiene Una Copia Clandestina De La Entrevista Confiscada De Jorge Ramos Con El Gobernante Venezolano Nicolás Maduro – El Video Completo Saldrá Al Aire En “Aquí Y Ahora” Este Domingo
QUÉ: La conflictiva entrevista que condujo a la detención ilícita temporal del presentador de Univision Noticias, Jorge Ramos, y de su equipo de producción en Caracas en febrero de este año, al fin ha llegado a manos de Univision Noticias y saldrá al aire por primera vez el próximo domingo en el programa “Aquí y Ahora”. También estará disponible en todas las plataformas digitales y redes sociales de Univision Noticias. La tarjeta de memoria original que contenía a la entrevista, y todos los equipos técnicos de Univision, fueron confiscados por el régimen de Maduro al finalizar el encuentro.
Tres meses después de ese incidente ampliamente divulgado, fuentes de Univision Noticias, trabajando dentro y fuera de Venezuela, lograron obtener una copia de la polémica entrevista que fue interrumpida abruptamente por un Maduro enfurecido luego de 17 minutos de conversación.
Ahora el público verá, con sus propios ojos, lo que sucedió durante esos 17 minutos, y descubrirá por qué las preguntas de Ramos le molestaron a Maduro hasta el punto de retener al periodista ilegalmente por varias horas, incomunicado, en un salón del palacio presidencial de Miraflores. Ramos y su grupo de producción fueron expulsados de Venezuela la mañana siguiente. La tarjeta de memoria original y los equipos técnicos incautados nunca han sido devueltos a Univision.
