MIAMI – OCTOBER 2, 2018 – Univision Noticias, the multi award-winning news division of Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), the leading media company serving Hispanic America, received three News & Documentary Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).
Ilia Calderón’s special interview for “Aquí y Ahora” titled “En La Boca Del Lobo” (In The Wolf’s Mouth) took home the Emmy for outstanding newscast or newsmagazine in Spanish. “Fear in Trump Territory,” produced by Univision Noticias Digital, was awarded as outstanding feature story in Spanish. “Aquí y Ahora’s” coverage of the Route 91 Harvest music festival mass shooting in Las Vegas, anchored by Teresa Rodriguez, took home the Emmy for outstanding coverage of a breaking news story in Spanish.

MIAMI – 2 DE OCTUBRE DE 2018 – Univision Noticias, la galardonada división de noticias de Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), la principal empresa de medios de comunicación al servicio de la comunidad hispana en los Estados Unidos recibió tres premios Emmy de Noticias y Documentales de la National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Academia Nacional de Artes y Ciencias de la Televisión).
La entrevista especial de Ilia Calderón para “Aquí y Ahora” titulada “En la boca del lobo” se llevó el Emmy por noticiero o magazín noticioso sobresaliente en español. “Temor en tierra de Trump con mayoría de indocumentados”, producido por Univision Noticias Digital, fue galardonado como Reportaje sobresaliente en español. La cobertura del programa “Aquí y Ahora” sobre el tiroteo masivo en el festival de música Route 91 Harvest en Las Vegas, presentada por Teresa Rodriguez, ganó el Emmy por Cobertura sobresaliente de noticias de último minuto en español.
