Santiago Matías “Alofoke” Will Also Have a Special On-Stage Appearance During the Awards Show.
MIAMI – February 12, 2026 – Premio Lo Nuestro continues to usher in a new era of integration between TV and digital platforms with the addition of Santiago Matías “Alofoke” as a Backstage Livestream Insider. The influential Dominican media personality joins the previously announced digital experience hosted by Jomari Goyso, Marko, Monse Medina, and Wendy Guevara, with Karla Díaz also participating as Insider. Together, they will provide audiences with exclusive access to hallways, green rooms, and the night’s most spontaneous moments, before and after artists take the stage or accept their awards.
With this addition, Alofoke and the Alofoke Radio Show team will take over the Backstage Livestream during key moments of the evening, including artists’ and celebrities’ appearances on the magenta carpet, as well as various segments throughout the ceremony. Joined by Gabi Desangles, Pollito Tropical, Marko, and Dotol Nastra, Alofoke will bring his signature energy and a direct connection to digital audiences who closely follow urban culture and major Latin music events.
In addition to receiving his first-ever Premio Lo Nuestro nomination this year as a producer under ALOFOKE MUSIC for the track “BUM BUM,” performed by El Alfa and Jon Z, in the category of Best Trap/Hip Hop Song – Urban, Santiago Matías will also have a special on-stage participation during the broadcast.
The Premio Lo Nuestro Backstage Livestream will take place on Thursday, February 19, at 5:30 p.m. ET across TelevisaUnivision’s social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Univision.com.
