MIAMI – February 11, 2026 – TelevisaUnivision announced the highly anticipated premiere of “Mi Rival,” a powerful new telenovela starring Sebastián Rulli, Alejandra Barros, and Ela Velden, set to debut on Monday, March 2 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT on Univision, with streaming available on ViX beginning the following day in the United States.
Produced by Carmen Armendáriz, the melodrama follows the story of Paloma (Alejandra Barros) and her daughter Bárbara (Ela Velden), who become rivals after falling in love with the same man, Renato Tirado (Sebastián Rulli). As Paloma fights to reclaim Renato’s love, Bárbara will stop at nothing to win him over and seek revenge against her mother, unleashing a story fueled by passion, conflict, and buried secrets.
The stellar cast also includes Arturo Peniche, Marco Treviño, Cinthia Aparicio, Martha Julia, Ana Bertha Espín, Diana Haro, Vicente Tamayo, Edward Castillo, and Mildred Feuchter, among other standout talents.
“Mi Rival” marks a milestone as the first telenovela produced entirely on location in San Luis Potosí, showcasing its breathtaking natural landscapes and iconic settings.
