MIAMI – May 7, 2024 – Univision‘s new telenovela, guaranteed to move audiences from the start, premieres on May 19th at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT. “A.MAR, donde el amor teje sus redes” tells the story of Estrella Contreras (Eva Cedeño), a single mother who struggles to raise her daughter Azul (Camille Mina). After the tragic death of her father Ulises (Juan Carlos Barreto), Estrella finds herself needing to return to her hometown where she meets Fabián Bravo (David Zepeda), a widowed father and fisherman by trade, who is fighting to regain custody of Yazmín (Karla Gaytán), his teenage daughter.
In “A.MAR,” Estrella and Fabián will face a hurricane of adversities in their struggle to solidify their love, always prioritizing the well-being of their families. Love blossoms between them, but it will be hindered by Érika Méndez (Laura Carmine), Fabián’s ex-partner, and by the ambition of Sergio Falcón (Víctor González), a powerful businessman and Azul’s father. Érika and Sergio seek to prevent the love between Estrella and Fabián from flourishing at all costs, even if it means destroying the traditions and livelihoods of the fishing town.
The telenovela also features Ana Martín, Pedro Moreno, Sofía Olea, Juan Carlos Barreto, Gaby Mellado, Diego de Erice, and Sergio Reynoso, among others.

MIAMI – 7 de mayo de 2024 – Univision estrena una telenovela que conmoverá a la audiencia desde el primer momento el 19 de mayo a las 8 p.m. ET /7 p.m. CT. “A.MAR, donde el amor teje sus redes” narra la vida de Estrella Contreras (Eva Cedeño), una madre soltera que lucha por sacar adelante a su hija Azul (Camille Mina). Tras la fatídica muerte de su padre Ulises (Juan Carlos Barreto), Estrella se ve en la necesidad de regresar a su pueblo natal donde conoce a Fabián Bravo (David Zepeda), padre viudo y pescador de oficio, quien pelea por recuperar la custodia de Yazmín (Karla Gaytán), su hija adolescente.
En “A.MAR”, Estrella y Fabián se enfrentarán a un huracán de adversidades en su lucha por consolidar su amor, siempre anteponiendo el bienestar de sus familias. El amor nace entre ellos, pero se verá obstaculizado por las intrigas de Érika Méndez (Laura Carmine), expareja de Fabián, y por la ambición de Sergio Falcón (Víctor González), un poderoso empresario y padre de Azul. Érika y Sergio buscarán impedir a toda costa que el amor entre Estrella y Fabián florezca, aunque eso signifique acabar con las tradiciones y formas de sustento del pueblo pesquero.
