MIAMI – December 18, 2023 – ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announced today that POR SIEMPRE RBD, a special that for the first time ever will feature performances from the “Soy Rebelde” tour at Foro Sol and the highly anticipated concluding concert at Estadio Azteca, will be available on streaming only on ViX.
The special on the reunion and tour of the music group that sang to an entire generation will be a Christmas gift from ViX to its audience.
POR SIEMPRE RBD will highlight the Mexican pop group made up of members Anahí, Christian Chávez, Christopher Von Uckermann, Maite Perroni and Dulce María. POR SIEMPRE RBD will provide an intimate glimpse into the group’s experiences while on tour in Mexico, featuring never-seen behind-the-scenes footage.
More than 15 years have gone by since RBD’s last live concert (the group did come together for a virtual show in 2020). As rumors of a potential reunion tour circulated, it became evident that fans were eagerly anticipating the news.
The “Soy Rebelde” tour, which started in El Paso, Texas, which spanned 26 cities and celebrated almost 20 years of rich history by RBD, sold more than 1.5 million tickets within 24 hours and experienced sold-out shows in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and the United States.
The acclaimed group RBD reached an extraordinary milestone when it attracted more than 1.5 million to 54 stunning concerts. This accomplishment makes the talented Mexicans rank among the music industry’s elite, sharing the international stage with icons such as Taylor Swift and Elton John.
The popular group, RBD originated from the widely acclaimed Mexican TV show in the 2000s, “Rebelde”, endearing them to the Latin community and establishing them as a top-selling pop group.’
