VIX+ Unveils Trailer and Key Art for its New Drama Co-starring Maxi Iglesias

MIAMI –January 12, 2023 – ViX+ announced today the exclusive premiere of VOLVER A CAER, the drama series produced by Kate del Castillo with Carmen Cervantes and the Cholawood team and Endemol Shine Boomdog, on January 20. In this story of love, betrayal, happiness and loss, Kate del Castillo plays the lead role of Anna Montes de Oca, an Olympic gold medal-winning diver and Mexican national heroine who has an affair with a young musician played by Maxi Iglesias (“Valeria”). She embarks on a journey of self-discovery, which society unfortunately does not accept.
ViX+ also shared today a teaser and the official key art for VOLVER A CAER, which is directed by Hari Sama (“Esto No Es Berlín” [This Is Not Berlin]) and written by Almudena Ocaña and Aurora García Tortosa (“Elite”).
The six-episode ViX+ Original series is a contemporary version of Leo Tolstoy’s classic book Anna Karenina, one of literature’s greatest love stories, and is based on the 2015 adaptation by Endemol Shine Australia, another Banijay subsidiary. VOLVER A CAER also stars Rubén Zamora (“Buscando a Frida” [The Search for Frida]), Martín Altomaro (“Manual Para Galanes” [Gentleman’s Manual]), Edwarda Gurrola (“Señorita 89” [Miss 89]), Lucía Gómez Robledo (“Cómo Sobrevivir Soltero” [How to Survive Being Single]) and Daniel Tovar (“Mirreyes VS Godínez”).
VOLVER A CAER will premiere exclusively on ViX+, the premium subscription tier of the ViX streaming service that offers subscribers more than 10,000 hours of premium content, including more than 70 ViX+ original series and movies, to be released in the first year. Ella emprende un viaje de autodescubrimiento, que la sociedad lamentablemente no acepta.
