Industry Veteran Henry Ahn Joins Univision Communications Inc as President of Content Distribution and Partnerships
MIAMI ─ AUGUST 6, 2018 ─ Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), the leading media company serving Hispanic America, announced today that it has appointed Henry Ahn as President of Content Distribution and Partnerships. Ahn will be based in Miami and will report directly to UCI Chief Executive Officer Vincent Sadusky.
An industry veteran and long-time senior distribution executive for Scripps Interactive Networks and NBCUniversal, Ahn will play a critical role in helping UCI deliver Univision’s best-in-class content across multiple platforms. He will also be instrumental in negotiating distribution agreements for all Univision services.

This, coupled with his deep understanding of the content business and his honest and straightforward negotiating style, will ensure that Univision partners with MVPDs and digital platforms to deliver our highly-consumed original content to the largest U.S. Hispanic audience.”
Ahn most recently served as president, content distribution and marketing for Scripps Interactive Networks (part of Discovery, Inc). Prior to his time at Scripps, he served as EVP, TV networks distribution for NBCUniversal. Earlier in his career he held executive positions with HBO and Comedy Central. His work has been recognized with several industry honors, including the NCTA Vanguard Award for Marketing. Ahn is a CableFAX Sales Hall of Fame inductee and was named to the publication’s “Most Influential Minorities in Cable” and “Top Cable Power Players” lists.

(UCI), la principal empresa de medios de comunicación al servicio de la comunidad hispana en Estados Unidos, anunció hoy que Henry Ahn ha sido nombrado presidente de Distribución y Alianzas de Contenido. Ahn trabajará desde Miami y le reportará directamente a Vincent Sadusky, director ejecutivo de UCI.
Ahn, veterano del sector y alto ejecutivo de distribución de Scripps Interactive Networks y NBCUniversal durante mucho tiempo, desempeñará un papel crucial al contribuir a que UCI ofrezca el excelente contenido de Univision en sus múltiples plataformas. Antes de trabajar en Scripps, fue vicepresidente ejecutivo de Distribución para las cadenas de televisión de NBCUniversal. Anteriormente en su carrera ocupó cargos ejecutivos en HBO y Comedy Central. Ha recibido varios galardones del sector, entre ellos el Premio Vanguard al Mercadeo de NCTA. Ahn es miembro del Salón de la Fama de Ventas de CableFAX y fue seleccionado para las listas de “Más influyentes miembros de minorías en cable” y “Destacadas potencias en cable” de esa publicación.
