Global Superstar Maluma Joins Ozuna, Natti Natasha, CNCO and Many Others for the New Edition of “Premios Juventud”

MIAMI – JULY 13, 2018 – As top and emerging artists from different genres are added to the lineup, “Premios Juventud” (PJ 2018) is preparing to deliver a unique multi-generational celebration for the first time on a Sunday night on the Univision Network: July 22, starting at 7 p.m. ET.
Young music icon Maluma will premiere on TV one special segment with his new hits.
As a further commitment to rallying generations around all-time-favorite dance songs, legendary KC and The Sunshine Band, who originated in South Florida, will bring a first-ever special performance for Spanish-language TV with their greatest hits “Boogie Shoes,” “That’s the Way (I Like It)” and “Get Down Tonight.”
“The band and I are so honored be a part of PJ 2018,” said KC and The Sunshine Band. “Univision does a great job of bringing communities together and we are excited to continue to share our music with everyone.”
Adding to the multi-genre performances, PJ 2018 announces more hot artists recognized across TV, radio and digital platforms: Gente de Zona, Mau y Ricky, Natti Natasha, Chacal, El Micha, IAmChino, Il Volo, Joss Favela, L.I.K.E., Lenier, Raymix, Nio Garcia, Casper Magico, Yomil y El Dany, Yulien Oviedo, Wolfine y Srta Dayana.
Modern-day influencers and actors Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, son of Sofia Vergara, and Marielena Davila, daughter of Chiquinquira Delgado, represent the next generation of hosts leading the main celebration of youth culture with a nod to Generation Z.
On Sunday, July 22nd, the four-hour celebration will kick off at 7 p.m. with an hour of exclusive content, musical performances and artist interviews presented by Univision’s TV personalities Borja Voces and Daniela Di Giacomo.
Already confirmed artists set to perform include: Sofia Reyes, Jason Derulo and De La Ghetto singing together for the first time in the U.S., Ozuna, Carlos Rivera, CNCO, Johann Vera, Jacob Forever, Kany Garcia and Zion y Lennox.

PJ 2018 will recognize “Agentes de Cambio” (Agents of Change) who contribute to their communities and raise awareness of social issues. The “Agentes de Cambio” will be announced next week.

El joven ídolo de la música Maluma estrenará en un segmento especial en televisión sus nuevas canciones populares.
