UniMás Outperforms Telemundo to be No. 2 Spanish-Language Network, Weeknights at 9pm, Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-34

Driven by “La Tierra Prometida” Monday Through Friday at 9pm, UniMás Out-Delivers the CW by Double Digits Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 14, 2018 to May 20, 2018

Last week, UniMás registered week-to-week audience gains during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 748,000), Adults 18-49 (+9% to 310,000) and Adults 18-34 (+21% to 135,000) for the second consecutive week.

“La Tierra Prometida,” airing weeknights from 9pm to 10pm on UniMás, attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 1.4 million), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 490,000) and Adults 18-34 (+16% to 207,000) to the time-period versus the previous week. UniMás also ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network during the weeknight 9pm-10pm time-period, outperforming Telemundo’s “Al Otro Lado Del Muro” among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+4% adv.).

UniMás out-delivered the CW network by double-digit margins during the Monday to Friday 9pm hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+61% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+29% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+20% adv.).

UniMás out-delivered the CW network by double-digit margins on Friday night among Adults 18-49 (+36% adv.; 288,000 vs. 212,000) and Adults 18-34 (+99% adv.; 133,000 vs. 67,000).

Saturday night’s movie lineup, “Cine Cantinflas: El Siete Machos,” and “Cineplex Sat: Paranoia” increased UniMás’ audience week-to-week, by double-digits, among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 572,000), Adults 18-49 (+17% to 246,000) and Adults 18-34 (+30% to 92,000).

Driven by its back-to-back movie line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun: Let’s Be Cops” and “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun 2: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” UniMás increased its audience week-to-week by double digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 677,000), Adults 18-49 (+27% to 347,000) and Adults 18-34 (+65% to 172,000).

UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+82% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+96% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+129% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.

In the current 2017/2018 season, UniMás is delivering more Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 730,000) in primetime versus comparable weeks in the 2016/2017 season.
