Univision and The Clorox Company to Present “Íntimamente Compartiendo Entre Amigas” Special Hosted by Jacqueline Bracamontes and Alejandra Espinoza in Celebration of Mothers

MIAMI – MAY 11, 2018 – The Univision Network and The Clorox Company have once again partnered to air “Íntimamente Compartiendo entre Amigas” (Intimately Sharing Amongst Friends), a special show celebrating modern Latina moms and highlighting how women gain empowerment through dedication and hard work. The 9th annual special will air on Saturday, May 12th at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. central) on The Univision Network.
Hosted by the beloved actress Jacqueline Bracamontes and Univision personality Alejandra Espinoza, the Televisa co-production welcomes back “Entre Amigas’ own ambassador, fashion expert, Maggie Jiménez as a co-host. Guest stars include Mexican diva and grandmother, Laura León, singer-songwriter Alicia Villareal, and renowned actress Geraldine Bazán. Together, these women will touch on the ups and downs of motherhood, discussing personal anecdotes and family traditions and values they want to pass on to the next generations. There will also be a must-see musical performance by the all-women mariachi band, Flor de Toloache.
This year, the audience will have the opportunity to get to know the powerful stories of three remarkable women who have been able to excel as working mothers in male-dominated fields. Eva Guzmán, the judge who became the first Latina to serve on the Texas Supreme Court and was named “Latina Judge of the Year” by the Hispanic National Bar Association. Andrea Carmona Soto, one of the few female firefighters in Mexico City who is able to combine her demanding day time job that puts her life at risk every day with raising a teenage daughter. Adriana Macias, a lawyer, a mom and a motivational speaker who was born without arms but her disability has never been an obstacle to excel in whatever she undertakes, becoming a very successful and fulfilled woman.

MIAMI – 11 DE MAYO DE 2018 – La Cadena Univision y The Clorox Company se han vuelto a asociar para trasmitir “Íntimamente Compartiendo entre Amigas”, un programa especial que celebra a las mamás latinas modernas y destaca el empoderamiento de la mujer por medio de la dedicación y el trabajo arduo. El 9no especial anual se trasmitirá el sábado 12 de mayo a las 8 p.m. Este/Pacífico (7 p.m. Central) por la Cadena Univision.
Con la popular actriz Jacqueline Bracamontes y la personalidad de Univision Alejandra Espinoza como conductoras, la producción con Televisa volverá a darle la bienvenida como copresentadora a Maggie Jiménez, embajadora de “Entre Amigas” y experta en moda. Las estrellas invitadas incluyen a la diva mexicana Laura León, que es abuela, la cantautora Alicia Villareal y la renombrada actriz Geraldine Bazán. Juntas, comentarán sobre los aspectos positivos y negativos de la maternidad, contarán anécdotas personales y hablarán de las tradiciones y los valores familiares que les quieren trasmitir a las próximas generaciones. También se presentará la banda femenina de mariachis Flor de Toloache en una actuación musical que no se pueden perder.
Este año la audiencia tendrá la oportunidad de oír las impactantes historias de tres mujeres asombrosas que han podido sobresalir como madres que trabajan en campos dominados por los hombres: Eva Guzmán, la primera latina en la Corte Suprema de Texas, designada “Jueza Latina del Año” por la Hispanic National Bar Association; Andrea Carmona Soto, una de las pocas bomberas en la Ciudad de México que logra realizar su exigente trabajo durante el día, pone su vida en peligro a diario y, a la vez, cría a su hija adolescente, y Adriana Macías, abogada, mamá y oradora motivacional, quien a pesar de haber nacido sin brazos sobresale en todo lo que emprende y ha llegado a ser una mujer muy exitosa y realizada.
