Univision Continues Winning Streak as the No. 1 Spanish-Language Network in Prime Time, Outperforming its Closest Competitor in Key Demos

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 5, 2018 to March 11, 2018

Univision continues to rank as No. 1 Spanish-language network for the week, outperforming its closest competitor with Total Viewers 2+ (+48%), Adults 18-49 (+29%) and Adults 18-34 (+59%).

  • This marked the 17th consecutive week out-delivering its closest competitor among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

2017-18 Season-to-date, Univision ranks as the No 1 Spanish-language broadcast network, outperforming its closest competitor by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (24%), Adults 18-49 (+12%) and Adults 18-34 (+14%).

Univision’s Friday night Prime Time lineup tops ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC among Adults 18-34, making Univision No. 1, regardless of language, for the night.

  • “Papá a Toda Madre” ranked No. 1 on Friday during its 9pm hour among Adults 18-34 as well as No. 2 among Adults 18-49.

Univision ranked No. 4 broadcast network in the 9pm weekday hour among Adults 18-34, beating CBS.

  • “Papá a Toda Madre” posted week-to-week audience gains among Adults 18-34 (+8%).
  • “Papá a Toda Madre” outperformed its closes Spanish-language competitor by double digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+34%), Adults 18-49 (+35%) and Adults 18-34 (+115%).

“El Rico y Lázaro” ranked No. 2 on Friday during its 8pm hour among Adults 18-34, beating CBS and NBC, as well as No. 4 among Adults 18-49, beating ABC.

  • “El Rico y Lázaro” ranked No. 1 at 8pm versus the Spanish-language competition at the same time.
  • The series outperformed its closest Spanish-language competitor by double digits among Adult 18-49 (+68%), Adults 18-34 (+108%), Total Viewers 2+ (+87%).
