Univision Continues Its Winning Streak as the No. 1 Spanish-Language Network for 10th Consecutive Week Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

Univision’s “Rey David” and “Mi Marido Tiene Familia” are 2018’s Top-Rated Spanish-Language Series To-Date

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of January 8, 2018 to January 14, 2018

In the current 17-18 Season-to-date Univision reigns No. 1, beating its closest Spanish-language competitor with Total Viewers 2+ (+19% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+7% adv.), and Adults 18-34 (+5% adv.).

  • This past week Univision claimed the No. 1 Spanish-language network position, with double-digit advantages over its closest competitor with Total Viewers 2+ (+36%) and a +28% advantage among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
  • This marked the 10th consecutive week out-delivering its closest competitor among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 as well as the 9th consecutive week with Adults 18-34.

Univision was also the fifth largest broadcast network overall with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 in both this past week and the current 17-18 Season-to-date.

Univision captured the No. 1 Spanish-language network ranking in the weeknight 8pm and 9pm hour, growing its week-to-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 and surpassing its closest competitor by double-digit margins.

  • “Rey David” delivered its highest weekly average with Adults 18-49 and positioned Univision as the No. 1 Spanish-language network among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34 at 8pm. During its finale week, “Rey David” attracted more than double the Total Viewers 2+ (+117%) of its closest Spanish-language competitor and posted a substantial advantage among Adults 18-49 (+83%) and Adults 18-34 (+93%).
    • “Rey David” grew its week-to-week audience with Total Viewers 2+ (to 2.2 million), Adults 18-49 (+3% to 911,000) and averaged 380,000 Adults 18-34.
  • In the 9pm hour Univision outperformed its closest Spanish-language competitor, ranking No. 1 with Total Viewers 2+ (+91%), Adults 18-49 (+81%) and Adults 18-34 (+75%). Univision also beat FOX as the No. 4 network overall in the weeknight 9pm hour.
    • Univision’s 9pm dramedy “Mi Marido Tiene Familia” (My Husband Has a Family) averaged its highest weekly Adults 18-49 audience and grew its viewership with Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 2.0 million), Adults 18-49 (+14% to 928,000) and Adults 18-34 (+10% to 419,000) over the prior week.

Airing “Caer en Tentación” (Into Temptation) in the weeknight 10pm hour, Univision grew its Total Viewers 2+ (1.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (603,000) audience by +2% compared to the previous week and attracted 246,000 Adults 18-34.
