UniMás Out-Delivered Telemundo on Sunday Night with Double-Digit Audience Advantages Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Week of December 25, 2017 to December 31, 2017

With double-digit audience growth over same week in 2016, UniMás averaged 742,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+19%), 332,000 Adults 18-49 (+11%) and 139,000 Adults 18-34 (+17%) last week during broadcast prime.

UniMás also increased its audience during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), Adults 18-49 (+17%) and Adults 18-34 (+28%) compared to the prior week.

UniMás’ 8pm series, “La Niña,” reported audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+1% to 507,000), Adults 18-49 (+5% to 213,000) and Adults 18-34 (+20% to 95,000) versus the prior week.

UniMás outperformed Telemundo head-to-head in the 9pm hour Monday through Friday last week among Total Viewers 2+ (+22% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+11% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+2% adv.).

  • “La Tierra Prometida” averaged 1.2 Million Total Viewers 2+ 465,000 Adults 18-49 and 184,000 Adults 18-34, and increased its audience week-to-week by +4% among Total Viewers 2+, +6% among Adults 18-49 and +18% among Adults 18-34.

UniMás’ 10pm series, “Lady, La Vendedora Rosas,” reported week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 604,000), Adults 18-49 (+17% to 278,000) and Adults 18-34 (+42% to 119,000) while it also tripled the network’s audience levels in the time-period compared to the same week in 2016 across all three demographic groups.

Monday through Friday, UniMás, on average, out-delivered CW during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+3% adv., 332,000 vs. 323,000) and Adults 18-34 (+8% adv., 139,000 vs. 129,000).

Driven by the Action/Thriller movie “Cine de las Estrellas Sun: Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol,” UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language network on Sunday night, outperforming Telemundo by double-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+21% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+41% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+35% adv.).

UniMás delivered on average more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+114% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+120% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+157% adv.).

UniMás finished fourth quarter 2017 with double-digit audience gains in primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+41%), Adults 18-49 (+24%) and Adults 18-34 (+23%) versus fourth quarter of 2016.
