UniMás Continues Strong Start to the Season with Eighth Consecutive Week of Year-Over-Year Audience Growth Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network on Sunday Night, Outperforming Telemundo Among Adults 18-34

Last week, UniMás registered year-over-year audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+21% to 753,000), Adults 18-49 (+2% to 317,000) and averaged 127,000 Adults 18-34.

  • UniMás’ weeknight 8pm epic drama, “La Tierra Prometida,” reported year-over-year audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+53% to 1,228,000) and Adults 18-49 (+26% to 469,000) as well as +7% among Adults 18-34 (to 169,000).
  • UniMás’ 9pm series, “Totalmente Diva” attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+65%), Adults 18-49 (+38%) and Adults 18-34 (+2%) to the 9pm weeknight hour versus comparable week in the 2016/2017 season.
  • UniMás 10pm series, “Lady, La Vendedora Rosas” attracted more audience year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+38% to 403,000), Adults 18-49 (+12% to 184,000) and Adults 18-34 (+5% to 80,000) to the 10pm hour.

On Saturday night, UniMás increased its Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 903,000), Adults 18-49 (+4% to 356,000) and Adults 18-34 (+10% to 141,000) from prior Saturday performance with a back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine Cantinflas: El Analfabeto” and “Cineplex Sat: La Hija De Moctezuma,” finishing the night as the No. 2 Spanish-language Network among Total Viewers 2+.

Driven by its back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun: Transporter 2” and “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun 2: 12 Years A Slave,” UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language Network on Sunday night, outperforming Telemundo by +7% among Adults 18-34 (173,000 vs. 161,000).

UniMás, delivered on average, more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+106% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+116% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+127% adv.).
