The Network saw Fourth Consecutive Week of Audience Gains Among Adults 18-34 During Primetime and Third Week Among Adults 18-49 as well as Total Viewers 2+

UniMás averaged 655,000 Total Viewers 2+, 282,000 Adults 18-49 and 111,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week during prime.

  • Marking as the fourth consecutive week the network has delivered week-to-week audience gains among Adults 18-34 (+19%) and third consecutive week among both Adults 18-49 (+16%) and Total Viewers 2+ (+29%).
  • Year-over-year, UniMás also posted double-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+37%), Adults 18-49 (+31%) and Adults 18-34 (+37%).

On Monday, UniMás premiered in the 8pm hour the epic series “La Tierra Prometida,” (The Promised Land) averaging 783,000 Total Viewers 2+, 284,000 Adults 18-49 and 114,000 Adults 18-34 in its debut week.

  • The new series delivered significant audience gains to the M-F 8-9pm hour versus the previous four-week average as well as versus the corresponding week in 2016 across key demographics.
    • prior 4 weeks (08/14/17-09/08/17): Total Viewers 2+ (+109%), Adults 18-49 (+74%) and Adults (+81%).
    • year prior (09/12/16-09/16/16): Total Viewers 2+ (+53%), Adults 18-49 (+12%) and Adults (+19%).
  • Additionally, “La Tierra Prometida” delivered more viewers than the previous 8pm series premiere week, “Totalmente Diva” (06/12/17-06/16/17), among Total Viewers 2+ (+68%), Adults 18-49 (+34%) and Adults 18-34 (+48%).

At 9pm, “Totalmente Diva” (Totally Diva) registered its highest-rated weekly performance for the second consecutive week with 571,000 Total Viewers 2+, 248,000 Adults 18-49 and 91,000 Adults 18-34, increasing its audience levels from prior week by +7%, +1% and 7%, respectively.

With consistent weekly audience gains in the last two consecutive weeks, “Rosario Tijeras” achieved its highest-rated weekly performance on UniMás this past week with 558,000 Total Viewers 2+, 234,000 Adults 18-49 and 107,000 Adults 18-34. The 10pm drama series increased its audience from the prior week by +22% among Total Viewers 2+, +1% among Adults 18-49 and +9% among Adults 18-34.

On Saturday, UniMás aired back-to-back movies, “Cine Cantinflas: El Barrendero” (7-9pm) and “Cineplex: The Transporter” (9-11pm), which led the network to out-deliver Telemundo for the entire night among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% adv., 710,000 vs. 688,000), while averaging 318,000 Adults 18-49 and 122,000 Adults 18-34.

  • The network reported +39% more Total Viewers 2+, +53% more Adults 18-49 and +26% more Adults 18-34 over the prior Saturday, and year-over-year it reported audience gains of +1%, +15% and +49%, respectively.

On Sunday night, UniMás’ back-to-back “Cine de las Estrellas” movies, “3 Days to Kill” and “The Protector” attracted more viewers to the network’s 7pm to 11pm time slot from the comparable week in 2016 among Total Viewers 2+ (+28% to 681,000), Adults 18-49 (+38% to 359,000) and Adults 18-34 (+17% to 129,000), as well as +2% more Total Viewers 2+ over the prior Sunday.

UniMás averaged twice the viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
