“The passing of legendary radio personality Felo Ramirez fills all of us who had the privilege of knowing him and working with him with deep sadness. Felo was the first Hispanic announcer inducted to the Hall of Fame, calling 30 World Series and adding passion and color to the biggest moments in baseball over more than six decades. He was one of the greatest figures in sports announcing over several generations and he will always be remembered for his great professionalism, his warmth and his humility. More than anything, Felo will be remembered by his Univision family as a great friend and a great human being. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, and we pray that our Felo may rest in peace”
