New Format Sets Out to Bridge Cultures and Generations with a Blend of Top 40 and Latin Music Chart-Toppers
SAN ANTONIO, TX – APRIL 20, 2017 – Univision San Antonio, part of Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), today announced the launch of a new format on its KMYO 95.1 FM radio station. The new Latino Mix, which debuted Wednesday April 19, will be an English-language station specifically designed for Latino San Antonians; it will feature a unique blend of today’s Top 40 and Latin Rhythmic hits. The dynamic playlist will range from Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and The Chainsmokers to J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Enrique Iglesias and Daddy Yankee.
“Latino Mix 95.1 FM looks to draw a bridge between the many cultures, generations and musical styles that are characteristic of San Antonio. SAN ANTONIO, TX – 20 DE ABRIL DE 2017 – Univision San Antonio, parte de Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), anunció hoy el lanzamiento de un nuevo formato en su estación de radio KMYO 95.1 FM. La nueva Latino Mix, que se estrenó el miércoles, 19 de abril, será una estación de radio en inglés dirigida específicamente a los residentes latinos de San Antonio y presentará una mezcla única de las 40 canciones más populares de la actualidad y los éxitos musicales con ritmo latino. La dinámica variedad musical incluirá temas de Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars y The Chainsmokers, como también J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Enrique Iglesias y Daddy Yankee.
