Univision’s Series Finale of “Su Nombre Era Dolores: La Jenn Que Yo Conocí” Increases Audience by Double-Digit Margins Over the Prior Week with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Season-To-Date, Univision Ranks as the No. 1 Spanish-Language Network in Primetime Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Week of April 3, 2017 to April 9, 2017

  • For the third consecutive week, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-Language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights among Adults 18-34.
  • In the final week of the competition, Univision’s “Pequeños Gigantes USA” (Little Giants USA) attracted 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 707,000 Adults 18-49 and 315,000 Adults 18-34 while also positioned Univision as the No. 1 Spanish-language network during the Monday to Thursday 8pm to 9pm time slot with double-digit advantages over its closest competitor in both the key 18 to 49 (+20% adv.) and 18 to 34 (+40% adv.) demographics.
  • Univision’s “Vino El Amor” (Then Came Love) increased its audience week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 2.0 million) and Adults 18-34 (+2% to 370,000). “Vino El Amor” made Univision the fifth most-watched broadcast network in the weeknight 9pm hour, out-delivering its closest Spanish-language network competitor by +2% among Adults 18-49 (831,000) and +8% among Adults 18-34 (342,000).
  • Univision captured the No. 4 broadcast network ranking, ahead of ABC during the weeknight 10pm to 11pm time slot among Adults 18-34 with “La Piloto” (The Pilot), which averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 739,000 Adults 18-49 and 323,000 Adults 18-34.
  • On Saturday night, Univision delivered more Adult 18-34 (+40% adv.) and Adult 18-49 (+34% adv.) viewers than FOX for the entire night, marking the ninth consecutive Saturday night that it outperformed FOX across both demographics. Univision also ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, beating CBS by +14% on Saturday night.
  • Univision out-delivered ABC on Sunday night, to rank as the No. 4 broadcast network.
    • Airing at 8pm, Univision’s “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) grew its week-to-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 1.6 Million), Adults 18-49 (+4% to 640,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% to 244,000).
    • Airing from 9pm to 11pm, the finale of Univision’s dramatic series “Su Nombre Era Dolores: La Jenn Que Yo Conocí” (Her Name was Dolores: The Jenn I Knew) increased its audience by double-digit margins over the prior week with Total Viewers 2+ (+23% to 1.7 Million), Adults 18-49 (+23% to 800,000) and Adults 18-34 (+25% to 307,000).
      • The finale made Univision, the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, ahead of ABC and NBC, during the 9-11pm time period and the No. 4 broadcast network among Total Viewers 2+ (ahead of FOX) and Adults 18-49 (ahead of ABC).

      • Increased its audience in the last hour compared to the first hour by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), Adults 18-49 (+15%) and Adults 18-34 (+12%).

      • The finale was the No. 1 program on Sunday night among Hispanic viewers, including Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, regardless of language.

  • In the current 2016/2017 season, Univision continues to be the No. 1 Spanish-language network among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 as well as the fifth most-watched broadcast network during primetime with Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-34.
