UniMás’ “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” Out-Delivers Telemundo’s “La Fan” for the Tenth Consecutive Week Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 and Sixth Consecutive Week Among Adults 18-34
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights
Week of March 20, 2017 to March 26, 2017
- Week-to-week, UniMás registered +10% more Total Viewers 2+ (797,000), +5% more Adults 18-49 (357,000) and +1% more young Adults 18-34 (140,000) during broadcast prime.
- UniMás delivered its second-highest rated week thus far in the current season during weekday prime (M-F 8-11pm) with 820,000 Total Viewers 2+ and 355,000 Adults 18-49 and averaged 140,000 young Adults 18-34.
- For the tenth consecutive week, UniMás “Moises y Los Diez Mandamientos” out-delivered Telemundo’s novela “La Fan” head-to-head in the weeknight 8pm to 9pm time slot among both Total Viewers 2+ (+54% adv., 1.5 Million vs. 947,000) and Adults 18-49 (+50% adv., 606,000 vs. 403,000) and for the sixth consecutive week among young Adults 18-34 (+47% adv., 235,000 vs. 160,000).
- The 9pm dramatic series, “Mujeres de Negro,” reported week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 443,000), Adults 18-49 (+5% to 206,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+4% to 78,000).
- On Saturday night, UniMás registered +12% more Total Viewers 2+ (to 710,000) and Adults 18-49 (to 312,000) over the prior Saturday thanks to its lineup, which consisted of back-to-back movies: “Cine Cantinflas: Su Excelencia” and “Cineplex: Legendary Assassin.”
- Sunday night’s lineup consisting of back-to-back films (“Cineplex: Robin-B-Hood” & “Cine de las Estrellas: Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian”) followed by the drama series, “La Hermandad,” drove UniMás to rank as the No. 2 Spanish-language broadcast network during primetime for the second consecutive week, out-delivering Telemundo among Adults 18-49 (+2% adv. 395,000 vs. 387,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+7% adv., 164,000 vs. 153,000).
- With a median age of 41 years old, UniMás attracted the youngest audience of any broadcast network while it also averaged more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+142% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+161% adv.) and young Adults 18-34 (+186% adv.).
