UniMás’ “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” Out-Delivers Telemundo’s “La Fan” For the Fifth Consecutive Week among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49, and Attracts More Young Adults 18-34 This Past Week

UniMás Delivered More Viewers Than the Combined Audience of Estrella and Azteca Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

Week of February 13, 2017 to February 19, 2017

  • Last week, UniMás averaged 786,000 Total Viewers 2+, 369,000 Adults 18-49 and 150,000 young Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.
  • Versus the same week a year ago (02/15/16 – 02/21/16), UniMás attracted +13% more Total Viewers 2+ and +4% more Adults 18-49.
  • UniMás delivered its second-highest rated week thus far in the current season during weekday prime (M-F 8-11pm) with 755,000 Total Viewers 2+ and 355,000 Adults 18-49 and averaged 149,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Head-to-head in the 8pm hour, “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” out-delivered Telemundo’s novela, “La Fan” (M-F), for the fifth consecutive week among Total Viewers 2+ (+30% adv., 1.4 Million vs. 1.1 Million) and Adults 18-49 (+32% adv., 626,000 vs. 473,000) and attracted +10% more young Adults 18-34 (246,000 vs. 224,000).
    • “La Viuda Negra” (encore run) aired its final telecast on Monday night, averaging more viewers than its previous week’s performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% to 593,000), Adults 18-49 (+13% to 291,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+29% to 147,000).
    • On Tuesday, UniMás premiered in the 9pm hour the series “Mujeres de Negro,” averaging 616,000 Total Viewers 2+, 312,000 Adults 18-49 and 135,000 young Adults 18-34 in its debut week. Compared to the previous four weeks, it grew the time-period (Tue-Fri 9-10pm) by +14% among both Total Viewers 2+ & Adults 18-49 and by +12% among young Adults 18-34.
    • UniMás’ new 10pm dramatic series “Por Siempre Joan Sebastian” delivered 269,000 Total Viewers 2+, 130,000 Adults 18-49 and 63,000 young Adults 18-34 in its first week.
  • On Saturday night, UniMás registered audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+18% to 811,000), Adults 18-49 (+3% to 363,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+19% to 169,000) over the prior Saturday thanks to its lineup which consisted of back-to-back movies, “Cine Cantinflas: El Señor Fotógrafo” and “Cineplex: Chasing Mavericks.”
  • UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+137%), Adults 18-49 (+156%) and young Adults 18-34 (+163%) than the combined audience of Estrella and Azteca.
