Univision’s “Pequeños Gigantes USA” Reaches 4.2 Million Total Viewers 2+ with Monday Night Premiere, While Growing Mon-Thu 8 p.m. Hour by Double Digits in Key Demos

Univision Ranked No. 2 on Saturday Night with Young Adults 18-34 and No. 4 with Adults 18-49, Beating Both FOX and CBS

On Monday night, 4.2 Million Total Viewers 2+ tuned in to all or part of Univision’s Monday night premiere of “Pequeños Gigantes USA.” Hosted by Giselle Blondet, the 8pm premiere made Univision the No. 3 Broadcast network for the hour, beating CBS and NBC among young Adults 18-34.

  • For the entire premiere week, Mon-Thurs, “Pequeños Gigantes USA” averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 853,000 Adults 18-49 and 400,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Immediately grew the Mon-Thurs 8pm hour by double-digit margins with both Total Viewers 2+ (+18%) and Adults 18-49 (+11%) versus the prior week. Univision also reported audience gains with young Adults 18-34 (+8%) over the comparable period last week.

Airing Monday-Friday…

  • At 9pm, “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) averaged 2.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 922,000 Adults 18-49 and 420,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) attracted 2.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 959,000 Adults 18-49 and 412,000 young Adults 18-34. Univision also ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 during the Mon-Fri 10pm hour, besting NBC (+2%) and CBS (+6%).

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four out of seven nights among young Adults 18-34.

  • Univision ranked as the No. 4 Broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 this past Monday, outperforming NBC by +56%.
  • On Thursday night, Univision attracted more young Adults 18-34 than NBC (+2%).
  • Univision was the No. 4 broadcast network Friday night with young Adults 18-34, outperforming FOX (+51%) and NBC (+41%).
  • Univision ranked as the No. 2 network with young Adults 18-34 viewers on Saturday night and ranked No. 4 with Adults 18-49.
    • Airing back-to-back Liga MX matches, Univision delivered more than double the young Adults 18-34 viewers than FOX (+153%) and CBS (+143%). Univision also bested NBC by double-digit margins (+13%) with young Adults 18-34.
    • Among Adults 18-49, Univision also beat FOX (+58%) and CBS (+7%).
