Week of January 30, 2017 to February 5, 2017

Univision finished the week as the No. 3 broadcast network, out-delivering both NBC and CBS by +9% among young Adults 18-34.

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on every night last week among young Adults 18-34.

  • Univision ranked as the No. 3 Broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 this past Monday. Univision attracted more young Adults 18-34 viewers than NBC (+31%) and CBS (+23%).
  • On Tuesday night Univision out-delivered both CBS (+46%) and ABC (+54%) by double-digit margins with young Adults 18-34. Univision also out-delivered ABC (+2%) among Adults 18-49.
  • On Wednesday night, Univision attracted more young Adults 18-34 than ABC (+6%).
  • Univision ranked as the No. 4 Broadcast network for the third consecutive Thursday night, out-delivering FOX (+18%) with young Adults 18-34.
  • Univision was the No. 3 broadcast network Friday night with young Adults 18-34, outperforming FOX (+75%) and NBC (+48%). Univision also maintained its No. 4 rank with Adults 18-49, attracting +32% more viewers than FOX for the fifth consecutive Friday.
  • Univision ranked as the No. 3 network with young Adults 18-34 viewers on Saturday night. Airing back-to-back Liga MX matches, Univision bested both CBS (+46%) and NBC (+1%) among young Adults 18-34.
  • On Super Bowl Sunday, Univision ranked as the No. 2 network among Adults 18-49, behind FOX. Univision outperformed all other English-language networks by double-digit margins, including ABC (+18%), NBC (+63%) and CBS (+37%) with Adults 18-49. Among young Adults 18-34, Univision was the No. 3 Broadcast Network on Sunday night averaging more viewers than NBC (+61%) and CBS (+86%).
    • At 7pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 418,000 Adults 18-49 and 170,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • At 8pm Univision’s dramatic Series “Su Nombre Era Dolores: La Jenn Que Yo Conocí” (Her Name was Dolores: The Jenn I Knew) averaged 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 632,000 Adults 18-49 and 259,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Following at 10pm, “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) delivered 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 669,000 Adults 18-49 and 251,000 young Adults 18-34.

Airing Monday-Friday…

  • Univision’s 8pm telenovela, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) grew its audience week-to-week and attracted 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+ (+1%), 789,000 Adults 18-49 (+4%) and 379,000 young Adults 18-34 (+4%).
  • At 9pm, “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) averaged 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 983,000 Adults 18-49 and 441,000 young Adults 18-34. The 9pm telenovela helped Univision rank as the No. 3 broadcast network with young Adults 18-34, beating FOX (+1%) and CBS (+12%) during the Mon-Fri 9pm hour.
  • Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) attracted 2.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 971,000 Adults 18-49 and 404,000 young Adults 18-34. Univision also ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 during the Mon-Fri 10pm hour, besting NBC and CBS by +20%.
