UniMás Delivered Its Second Highest-Rated Weekly Primetime Performance in the Current 2016/2017 Season this Past Week Among Both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Week of December 5, 2016 to December 11, 2016

Last week, UniMás delivered 566,000 Total Viewers 2+, 298,000 Adults 18-49 and 121,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime, marking its second highest-rated weekly performance in the current 2016/2017 season with both the key 18 to 34 and 18 to 49 demographics.

UniMás increased its audience week-to-week during broadcast prime among Total Viewers 2+ (+5%), Adults 18-49 (+11%) and Adults 18-34 (+14%).

With consistent weekly audience growth in the last six consecutive weeks, UniMás “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” achieved its highest-rated weekly performance this past week and averaged more viewers (+22%) to the network’s Monday through Friday 8pm hour from the comparable week last year among Adults 18-49 (446,000).

UniMás weekday 10pm dramatic series “Bloque De Búsqueda” averaged its highest weekly audience levels with strong week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% to 288,000), Adults 18-49 (+30% to 162,000) and Adults 18-34 (+53% to 66,000).

On Saturday night, UniMás’ live coverage of the “2016 Major League Soccer Cup,” in which the Seattle Sounders FC defeated the Toronto FC in penalty-kick shootout to win their first MLS championship title, drew in 601,000 Total Viewers 2+, 328,000 Adults 18-49 and 145,000 Adults 18-34. The soccer match also ranks as the fourth highest-rated sports telecast in the current 2016/2017 season across all Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Featuring the 2010 action film “IP Man 2” on Sunday night, UniMás’ “Cine De Las Estrellas” attracted 900,000 Total Viewers 2+ and outperformed Telemundo during the 8pm to 10pm time slot with strong audience advantages of +20% among Adults 18-49 (506,000) and +39% among Adults 18-34 (248,000).

UniMás’ Sunday night dramatic series, “Club De Cuervos” delivered its highest-rated telecast thus far with 314,000 Total Viewers 2+ and increased its audience from the prior telecast (12/04/2016) among both Adults 18-49 (+49% to 169,000) and Adults 18-34 (+35% to 85,000).

With a median age of 38 years old, UniMás attracted the youngest audience of any broadcast network while also averaged more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+48% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+74% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+55% adv.).
