Univision finished the week as the No. 5 broadcast network among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
Week-to-week Univision grew its audience by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+38% to 2.2 Million), Adults 18-49 (+46% to 1.0 Million) and young Adults 18-34 (+47% to 469,000).
Versus the same week a year ago (11/09/15 – 11/15/15), Univision increased its viewership with Total Viewers 2+ (+9%), Adults 18-49 (+7%) and young Adults 18-34 (+12%).
On Tuesday Night, Univision’s Presidential election coverage, “Noche de Elecciones” made Univision the No. 4 broadcast network for the night, out-delivering FOX among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
- Reached 10.1 million Total Viewers 2+ who tuned in to all or part of the live broadcast and averaged 3.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 million Adults 18-49 and 759,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Reported strong audience gains in comparison to its primetime coverage of the presidential election in 2012 (11/06/2012) among Total Viewers 2+ (+9%), Adults 18-49 (+10%) and young Adults 18-34 (+8%).
On Friday night Univision ranked as the No. 1 Broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34. The 8pm USA vs. Mexico World Cup Qualifier match drove viewers to the network as 7.7 Million viewers tuned into all or part of the soccer match.
- The qualifier match ranked as the No. 1 program for the night among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
- Attracted 4.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.5 Million Adults 18-49 and 1.2 Million young Adults 18-34.
- In fact, this was the highest-rated World Cup Qualifier on any network since the MNT- Panama match on 10/11/13 on UniMás.
Univision’s primetime novela line-up increased its audience week-to-week by double-digit margins across every hour among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
- Univision’s 8pm novela, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 1.7 million), Adults 18-49 (+13% to 719,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+20% to 353,000).
- Following at 9pm “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) also increased its weekly average by double-digit percentages with Total Viewers 2+ (+13% to 2.2 million), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 952,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+12% to 449,000).
- Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) grew its audience week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 1.9 million), Adults 18-49 (+12% to 875,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+14% to 396,000).
On Saturday night, airing “Premios Bandamax,” Univision increased its prime audience by +23% with Total Viewers 2+ (to 1.2 million) compared to the prior Saturday.
For the second consecutive week, Univision increased its viewership during Sunday prime with Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 1.6 million) over the prior Sunday.
- Airing at 7pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 541,000 Adults 18-49 and 213,000 young Adults 18-34.
- At 8pm, “La Banda” delivered 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 711,000 Adults 18-49 and 293,000 young Adults 18-34.
- The 10pm episode of “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) titled “Trump Presidente: ¿Y Ahora Qué?” (President Trump: Now What?) drew significantly more viewers versus the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% to 1.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (+18% to 727,000).
- This Sunday’s “Aquí y Ahora” ranked among top 10 telecasts year-to-date and is the 3rd highest rated episode in the current season among Adults 18-49
