Univision Network Experienced Week-to-Week Growth Among Key Demographics

Week of October 17, 2016 to October 23, 2016

For the week of October 17th, Univision experienced week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%), Adults 18-49 (+9%) and young Adults 18-34 (+7%). Also, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on two nights among young Adults 18-34.

Airing Mon-Fri 8pm (except Wednesday), “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 1.5 million), Adults 18-49 (+2% to 642,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+2% to 309,000).

Airing Mon-Fri 9pm (with Wednesday at 8pm), “Tres Veces Ana” (Three Times Ana) experienced week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+11% to 1.1 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+12% to 479,000).

Airing Mon-Fri 10pm (except Wednesday), “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) experienced week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 2.0 million), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 900,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+9% to 394,000).

On Wednesday, the third “Clinton/Trump Debate” aired 9-11:30pm and averaged 2.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 474,000 young Adults 18-34. The debate consistently increased its audience levels in every half-hour from 9pm to 11pm among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

On Saturday…

  • Airing 7:55-10pm, the Liga MX match “Queretaro vs. América” averaged 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 605,000 Adults 18-49 and 244,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Next, “Crónicas de Sábado” averaged 846,000 Total Viewers 2+, 351,000 Adults 18-49 and 173,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Sunday…

  • Airing 7pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+17% to 1.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (+10% to 492,000).
  • At 8pm, “La Banda” saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+4% to 318,000).
  • At 10pm, “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now), featuring the documentary “Hate Rising,” saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+35% to 1.7 million), Adults 18-49 (+57% to 864,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+39% to 334,000).
