Leading Morning Shows “El Show de Omar y Argelia” in Los Angeles and “El Show de Raul Brindis” in Houston Outperform “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and “The Rod Ryan Show,” Respectively
NEW YORK – OCTOBER 5, 2016 – Univision’s radio stations closed this September with a total of 10 stations ranked No.1 in Total Week among all Spanish-language stations in their respective markets: Los Angeles’ KLVE, Miami’s WAMR, Houston’s KLTN, Chicago’s WOJO, Dallas’ KLNO, San Francisco’s KSOL, Phoenix’s KHOT, San Antonio’s KROM, San Diego’s KLNV and Las Vegas’ KISF.
Additionally, the Company’s radio group delivered the top three Spanish-language radio stations in Los Angeles (KLVE, KSCA, KRCD) and in Chicago (WOJO, WPPN, WVIV) among Adults 18-49 in Total Week. Plus, it ended the month with the top two Spanish-language radio stations in Miami, San Francisco, San Antonio and San Diego.

Furthermore, Univision’s radio stations ranked among the top three radio stations with Total Adults 18-49 regardless of language, in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and Las Vegas. Additionally, Univision ranked No. 1 or No. 2 during prime morning drive, regardless of language in six major markets, including Los Angeles (No. 1), Miami (No. 1), Houston (No. 1), Dallas (No. 2), San Diego (No. 2) and Las Vegas (No. 1).
Powerhouse performances by leading morning shows like “El Show de Omar y Argelia,” “El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo,” and “The Raul Brindis Show” resulted in larger Adult 18-49 audiences than those of top English-language competitors such as “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” in Los Angeles and “The Rod Ryan Show” in Houston.
- In Los Angeles, “El Show de Omar y Argelia” continues its winning streak in September as the No.1 show in AM Drive for the second month in a row, regardless of language, beating out English-language competitors “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and “The Woody Show” among Adults 18-49.
- In Houston, “El Show de Raul Brindis” has remained the city’s highest rated morning personality regardless of language, month after month for more than five years, reaching larger Adult 18-49 audiences than “The Rod Ryan Show” and “Sunny Mornings with Dana and Jay and Producer Anthony.”
- Additionally, “El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo” is the highest rated Regional Mexican show across eight out of the 10 PPM markets where it airs – Houston, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, San Antonio, San Diego, Phoenix and Las Vegas.
