Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of July 4, 2016 to July 10, 2016

  • For the week of July 4th, Univision…
    • Ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network for the second consecutive week among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming FOX in each demographic.
    • Out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six nights among young Adults 18-34.
  • In its second week, with original telecasts airing Tue-Fri 10pm, “Por Siempre… Joan Sebastian” (Forever, Joan Sebastian) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+13% to 2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 1.2 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+15% to 531,000).  Also, Univision ranked as the No. 2 broadcast network for the hour among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC, CBS and NBC.
  • On Monday, July 4th…
    • Univision ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC and FOX.
    • The special “Joan Sebastian, El Rey del Jaripeo,” airing 7-10:03pm, averaged 1.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 508,000 Adults 18-49 and 208,000 young Adults 18-34.  Next, an encore airing of “Por Siempre… Joan Sebastian” averaged 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 598,000 Adults 18-49 and 238,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing Tue-Fri 8pm, “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” (A Path to Destiny) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 1.9 million), Adults 18-49 (+4% to 771,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+11% to 387,000).  For the hour, Univision ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC and FOX.
  • Airing Tue-Fri 9pm, “Tres Veces Ana” (Three Times Ana) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 1.8 million), Adults 18-49 (+7% to 865,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+12% to 432,000).  For the hour, Univision ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC and FOX.
  • On Saturday…
    • Univision ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS.
    • Airing 8-10:03pm, the special “Balón de Oro” averaged 892,000 Total Viewers 2+, 410,000 Adults 18-49 and 207,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Next, the special preview of the upcoming UniMás series “Moises y Los Diez Mandamientos” averaged 900,000 Total Viewers 2+, 334,000 Adults 18-49 and 135,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • On Sunday…
    • Airing 5:30-8:12pm, the SuperCopa Mx match between Guadalajara and Veracruz averaged 871,000 Total Viewers 2+, 421,000 Adults 18-49 and 169,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Next, airing 8:12-8:37pm, Fútbol Central averaged 859,000 Total Viewers 2+, 466,000 Adults 18-49 and 196,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Finally, airing 8:37-11:10pm, the SuperCopa Mx match between Tigres UANL and Pachuca averaged 868,000 Total Viewers 2+, 440,000 Adults 18-49 and 170,000 young Adults 18-34.
