Last Week, Univision Ranked as the No. 3 Broadcast Network Among Both Young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, Outperforming CBS and FOX in Both Demographics

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 6, 2016 to June 12, 2016

  • On Tuesday, airing 10pm-12:39am, the match between Colombia and Paraguay delivered 2.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.5 million Adults 18-49 and 742,000 young Adults 18-34 in simulcast across Univision and UDN.
  • On Thursday, airing 9:30pm-12:03am, the match between México and Jamaica delivered 5.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.9 million Adults 18-49 and 1.4 million young Adults 18-34 in simulcast across Univision and UDN. It was the highest rated program of the night and the most-viewed soccer telecast since the 2015 Gold Cup Final (which was between the same two teams).
    • At 9pm, preceding the match, “El Gordo y La Flaca” delivered 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 533,000 Adults 18-49 and 225,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • For the week of June 6th, Univision…
    • Ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming CBS and FOX in both demographics.
    • Saw week-to-week growth among Adults 18-49 (+2%).
    • Attracted +9% more Adults 18-49 and +5% more young Adults 18-34 compared to the same week in 2015.
    • Out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) every night among young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 8pm, “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” (A Path to Destiny) averaged 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 608,000 Adults 18-49 and 284,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 9pm, “Tres Veces Ana” (Three Times Ana) averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 788,000 Adults 18-49 and 389,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Finally, at 10pm, “Yago” averaged 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 544,000 Adults 18-49 and 275,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • On Saturday, airing two Copa America Centenario matches (both simulcast on UDN), Univision ranked as the No. 1 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
    • Airing 6:30pm-9:03pm, United States vs. Paraguay averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 million Adults 18-49 and 454,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Airing 9:03pm-11:21pm, Colombia vs. Costa Rica averaged 3.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.6 million Adults 18-49 and 684,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • On Sunday, airing two Copa America Centenario matches (both simulcast on UDN), Univision ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC and FOX in each demographic.
    • Airing 6-8:32pm, Ecuador vs. Haiti delivered 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 515,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Airing 8:32-11:02pm, Brasil vs. Peru delivered 3.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.9 million Adults 18-49 and 768,000 young Adults 18-34.
